I waited another 10-15 minutes on the app hoping they would reconnect me with another driver, but no luck. Then I tried Lyft and spent another 10 minutes trying to find a ride there, with no success either. At this point, I was panicking that I was going to miss my flight. I went on Google searching for transportation options, called a few places, and nobody answered. Thankfully, that's when I found NorthshoreXpress. To my surprise, they answered immediately. When I explained my situation, they calmly said, "Not a problem, a driver can do the job." They quickly sent me a secure credit card payment link, and the price was much more reasonable than Uber or Lyft. Even better, I was picked up in less than 15 minutes. The driver shared his location so I could track him on my phone, which gave me great peace of mind. The driver (who I later found out was the owner) was incredibly courteous, professional, and intelligent. He kept up great conversation during the ride, which really helped calm my nerves after the stressful experience with Uber and Lyft. Price was very fair and on par with other car services and ride sharing. They even price matched a competitor that was slightly less expensive! The team at Northshore Xpress followed up multiple times to ensure they had the right kind of car seat and other details. He picked us up in a large van (probably not a van, but I don't know the name of it) and we had the entire transport to ourselves. Warren was kind, professional and engaged in friendly conversation. We were charged $45 for the arrival and I had not paid yet. Warren dropped us off and Ms. Christi contacted me later for my credit card information. It was so easy and stress free. For our departure we scheduled a 5am pick up on Monday morning for $35. I prepaid when I paid for our first ride. However, at 5:10 our ride still wasn't there. Based on our first trip I figured something must be wrong. It turns out our driver had a flat tire and was stuck on the side of the road. Too old to move! Chris was a absolute joy and charged the minimum and although Uber was cheaper, but I'd choose Chris at 3 times the cost. A really decent chap. They picked me up fast and the rates are only $10-$15 more then Uber. Uber takes a 1/3 of the charge and how does anyone make a buck after upkeep, insurance, and fuel. So, I will always call Parish Cab first. Sorry, as a old man my ETA checks are bothersome. I only pestered the 'dispatcher' a couple of times on 1 occasion.
