(For comparison, the other companies had nice people answering their phones, but it was clear these people weren't the ones actually doing the critter control.) On first visit, David came completely prepared with all the equipment he needed, and patiently walked my mom through everything he was planning on doing, why he was doing it, and gave her a quote. My mom was hesitant initially because she had never hired someone to do this type of job before, and David didn't pressure her at all or try to scare her into signing the contract. On the contrary, he was completely respectful and understanding. After she decided to sign the contract, he immediately went to work setting up several baited traps and cameras. It didn't take long at all for us to start seeing results. We thought we were only dealing with three raccoons, and he caught us something like 11 raccoons (yes, 11!!!!), and 2 bonus possums. Wow! Talk about effective! Not only was David extremely effective, he was so very kind. My kids (ages 7, 5, and basically 2) were so interested in his work. When he would come to get the animals that had been trapped, my three kiddos would come rushing out with my mom to watch David work and ask many questions and make many observations. He greeted them kindly every time, and answered all their many queries. He was so patient with their attention, even when it slowed down his work. It was so touching to see him extend such kindness to my kids. He was so considerate and friendly with them, that my older two are sad there are no more raccoons to catch and that they don't get to see Mr. David everyday anymore! Seeing him had been truly the highlight of their days this past week and a half. Wildlife X Team was an absolute nightmare--unresponsive, ineffective, unprofessional, and completely lacking in accountability. I initially paid them to handle a rat problem in my attic, only to be left with the same issue and an even bigger headache. After multiple visits, the issue was never resolved. The technician who was supposed to be my point of contact stopped responding, and when I finally reached him, he told me he no longer worked for the company. When I tried contacting the main office via email and phone, I was met with silence. With no response from the company, I submitted a credit card dispute and forgot about it. When I finally got a hold of someone (after being criticized for using the very email address listed on my invoice and their email signature), they sent out another representative. Instead of actually addressing the problem, he provided a new estimate for $21,000--a staggering price for a job they should have already completed. Management was rude, dismissive, and completely unaccountable throughout every interaction. They were difficult to work with from start to finish, showing no real interest in resolving the issue. The office manager eventually agreed to issue a refund and wrote me a check--but it was rejected by the bank. Had the check cleared, I would have canceled the credit card dispute. Instead, when they found out about the dispute, the office manager called me, yelled at me, and was downright degrading. It was beyond unprofessional and only confirmed how poorly this company is run. Rather than deal with their incompetence any longer, I hired a local vendor who completely resolved the issue for just $273.63. Wildlife X Team is a rip-off. They overcharge, underdeliver, ignore their customers, and treat them with outright disrespect. Save yourself the frustration and go with a reputable local business like Pest Pro, Terminix, or literally anyone else.
