    Donuts at wedding reception
    Leslie H.

Donut Palace has been a favorite of ours for a long time. Our favorites: blueberry cake donuts and apple fritters. The apple fritters are huge and SO good!! When my daughter said she wanted to have cake donuts at her wedding reception, I bought donuts from various shops and had her and her now husband do a blind taste test. Hands down, Donut Palace was their favorite. Donut Palace responded quickly to my FB Messenger inquiries and were easy to work with. I went in to place my order and get suggestions and then needed to switch a few things up about a week prior. The donuts were hit and I would highly recommend them if you are planning an event.

Great service, there were long lines but they moved quickly at 10 am on a Sunday morning. The cinnamon roll donuts are awesome very large. Original glazed are great too. Plenty of room for several families to eat inside

Who doesn't love a good donut?! I have been coming to this local spot for over 10 years now! I think they are hands down the best classic donut spot around. The glazed cinnamon twists are my personal favorite. The icing donuts always have the PERFECT amount on them- no half iced donuts for me please! If you love a blueberry donut- be sure to grab one here. Delicious Also, pair it with a coffee from the Kaldi's (another STL local!) right up the street and you have the perfect morning breakfast!

Perfect mornings start with donuts from Donut Palace STL. This shop was clean, the customer service was great and we were in and out with our donuts within 5 minutes. Donuts tasted fresh and fluffy. I recommend any of their old fashioned treats but vanilla frosting is the winner!

Great place to stop and get some donuts casually! Service is friendly. However they didn't have too many donut options available on the day I came in--I think because I came later in the morning so they probably already sold out of many. I'll try getting back in here earlier in the morning next time!

This is a neighborhood donut shop providing the standards to office workers, students, laborers, church goers, families, and other thousands traversing Clarkson near Manchester Road. No indoor dining during the COVID era.

    Long john!

I arrived after noon and was disappointed that they were sold out of my favorite apple fritter. But good for them! I was happy anyway with the Lonh John which they filled to my request with custard, and old fashioned sprinkle donuts. The best donuts in stl!

We were welcomed in and got in line to place our order. The case of pastries is fun to look at! We ordered and sat down to wait. Our coffee and food were good, but having been there before, we knew they would be. What I enjoy just as much as the menu items, is looking at the beautiful clothing that some of the women wear. I don't know all the correct words for the traditional clothing they wear and don't want to be disrespectful and use the wrong words! But some of them are absolutely gorgeous! Some of the men also wear their traditional clothing. I make an effort to not look too much, but some of the garments are hard to look away from! Go for the coffee and pastries, and enjoy seeing the traditional garments!

Lots of seating. The parking lot directly in front was significantly smaller than the one it was attached to, and completely full. There was a food truck and a shaved ice place, so we had to park further away by the Chuck E. Cheese. Not too bad of a walk, though, just something to note for folks who can't go long distances. I also didn't expect to spend $10 on the croissant and personally wouldn't spend that again. Coffee syrups were 1883 brand, and my preferred is house made syrup (especially for a $7 latte). However, almost anything is better than Torani! Still a nice treat to try for a first timer. I'll be back if I'm ever in the area again!

When you enter, it's very small but very well put together décor wise. Each area had signs that discouraged movement of their furniture and had its own kind of theme. I was meeting up with a friend and her daughter and unfortunately did not realize they had the typical café hours (closed at 2pm) so my visit was very quick (30 minutes) and I had to rush my conversation. I ordered an iced Monstera Mint latte and chocolate coffee cake slice. When the barista called up my order, I repeated my order asking if it's mine (they don't use a name system) and apparently *I* mispronounced MONSTERA because she turned her back and said within earshot to her coworker how I did not pronounce it correctly and why do people say it incorrectly. I am not a big plant person so excuse me for not knowing how every single plant name is pronounced. I know people vent at work, but it made me feel uncomfortable the rest of my visit, so I was glad it was almost time to leave before they closed. Vent after customers leave if you have to.... Anyways, my MONSTER-AH mint latte was good, but the chocolate coffee cake was a bit too dry for me. And service could have been a bit more professional in my opinion.

On Sunday morning, there was a good amount of people but it didn't feel crowded. It was easy to find a table and the noise level was perfect. In the countertop pastry case, they had carrot cake and an assortment of muffins for $5 each. All in all, come here if you want a sweet start to your day!
