so here's the thing: they have large air-filled fancy donuts and smaller rounder donuts full of doughy-nutty goodness and you have to specify which ones you want because the help doesn't read minds so pretty good and they're priced differently in at least seven ways depending... get it? got it? good! besides donuts they have sammiches, burritos, danish, and pigs in blankets (they're like toned down klobasnek. man oh man do I dig them little texican peppery cheese and sausage thingers) and they do 'em alright for non-czechistanians. and them's got biscuits... business hours are from way too early until not quite late enough but it's worth the adjustment to be here when the lights are on and the cases are full. read more

We took grandkids to Donut palace Sunday morning. The donuts looked wonderful and place smelled good. We walked into donut palace and waited for 8 minutes. We were the only ones inside. We weren't acknowledged with a greeting of any kind. They waited on drive thru and dash orders. Had I used the drive thru I or dash order I would have had my order. We left. read more

I would give them 5 stars. I went in the late afternoon so their selection was limited; but that was my fault. The staff was very friendly. The store was exceptionally clean and smelled wonderful. Even with the amount they had to offer, I had a good variety. Sometimes a sweet tooth will attack you in the afternoon and this was just right. It's at the east end of town so it was convenient for me. I would rarely travel across town for a sweet treat. They also offer homemade croissants individual or as a breakfast sandwich. This place has the best donuts I've ever tasted, hands down. I live in New York City, so there are many donut shops to choose from, non of them are as well-made as the Donut Palace, however. The shop closes early, but that means you always get fresh, warm donuts. There is no time for the pastries to sit on the shelf for hours- getting stale.
