Pulled up on a wet and blowy day not feeling like getting any wetter or blowed on than I already was. I considered going through the drive through but since I had never been there before I'd have been looking at the menu holding up progress so I just went inside for a look at all what was left in the way of donuts, biscuits, and kolache. for mid morning there was still a good selection in the cases: I was pleased to find an assortment of conventionally frosted and glazed yeasts and cakes plus turnovers, muffins, and donut seeds alongside a selection of kolaches: sausage, boudin, cheesey things... and some breakfasty biscuits too :-) old fashioned, glazed, sausage kolache and a SEC biscuit got me through the day. seems like a lot but that was all of it all the way to Atlanta where I had a more sensible but tedious breakfast the following morning. donuts are light and taste like donuts (not oil, yea!!) the old fashioned is heavy on icing but not ridiculously so. kolache is firm but not stiff and a bit sweet to help savor the meats. not really impressed with the biscuit but I had it cold with a packet of mustard about eight hours after leaving the shop so that's probably more my fault than theirs to be honest ;-) so yeah, if I had a whirl-o-meter Donuts, Coffee & More would be spinning it pretty hard. if you're near here go here but watch out for cross traffic because apparently headlights are optional in the rain. read more

Their business card says "Donuts & Coffee," with no mention of "cream" which is in the review title, so I don't know the story there... Donuts are terrific. I enjoyed the sausage, egg & cheese biscuit. The latte was good, too. If you are looking for beignets, they usually make them until 10AM (but sometimes later). There's kolaches and bagels, if you need to get your nosh on. The coffee they use is grade A Louisiana hospitality--Community Coffee, so support your locals! The vibe is friendly and welcoming. There were many regulars, who appeared to meet for coffee klatches. There were eight indoor tables and two outdoor tables. There's plenty of lot parking and a drive-thru available. Fresh Beignets almost comparable to café du monde, free Wi-Fi, hot coffee... what more could you ask for each morning? They're also really famous for their kolaches (It's that dough that really differentiates them from other places - yumm yumm). Definitely recommend giving it a try. This is the best overall donut shop in the Alexandria/Pineville area. Not only are the donuts good, but they have great breakfast burritos, and kolache. Nice seating area inside, and a small patio area outside. Employees are always friendly. This place is a savior for Hwy 28 E, especially since there is virtually nothing out this highway like it for unexplainable reasons. read more

The food was great and everything was fresh. The customer service however was not good. I went to the drive through because of the rain; and because I had never been there before it took me a minute to look at there menu. When I pulled up I said "sorry I've never been here before so I don't know what y'all have." And the woman responded "well you probably should have came inside then." That's not something you should ever say to your customers. She could have easily offered to help me choose some of their popular options; but instead she was just rude. Kind of disappointing considering I've heard nothing but great things about their food and service. read more

Chicken Parm is the bomb! The Asian-American Woman who works here is so nice! She is friendly and willing to help. The atmosphere is very pleasant and casual. The location is great but the drive-thru does g t backed up in the mornings. All in all great experience. read more
