This is a small whole in the wall in the same parking lot of a run down flea market. I am from Houston (home of the Mexican food) and have eaten tacos in Tijuana Mexico. This was my second time eating there. The first time was about a year ago. I got 2 beef tacos to go. When I took my 1st bite I noticed the meat was grizzled. The same thing for the second taco. I threw them away and said never again. Today a co-worker suggested it for lunch because he really enjoyed eating there. We order 2 orders of beef tacos and we both got a soda. The bill came to $14. We sit and eat our lunch. The tacos were better this time. Before we left, my co-worker ordered 2 orders of beef tacos to go. When the order was ready. he goes to pay, and this time the bill comes to $20. How is the bill larger, if we ordered the same amount of tacos, but no drinks. So after they come to and agreement over the price he pays and we go outside to leave. To our surprise, the older gentleman comes out and tells us we haven't paid. We try to explain that we did pay, but I don't think he undestude what we saying. My friend just said forget it and gave him another $10. He said never again. read more

In Alexandria finding the Gem Hole in the Wall places that have the best authenic food is almost impossible.. When we found this spot we Hit the Jack Pot. AT LAST. This is Real Authenic Mexican Food. The owners speak Spanish and the bill is also primted in Spanish. The Tacos are about the same cost as what a Taco Bell Taco cost, except its a home made Taco with your choice of meat. Last night, I ordered the enchiladas and it is nothing like the Tex Mex endchiladas we order at the resturants around here. Its like the ones they make in MEXICO. . I beleive it may be called Enchiladas Montadas with a fried egg. It came with rice, beans and had lettuce, tomato, crema with a mild red and hot green sauce on the side. My boyfriend and I agreed it was Spectacular. It will take them a Hot minite to prepare it. So dont expect the drive thru at Taco Bell. You will go in and order. You can dine in or get to go. They dont open on Mondays and they dont keep late hours. Heck, I dont even know if they have a phone? May Need to ask next time. Some times communication isnt easy. Thumbs up and we will be back getting another and trying more of the menu.
