Service was excellent and accommodating. The hot dogs are delicious and the buns were toasted to perfection! These buns are not your basic grocery store buns they are from a bakery. The dogs are all named after their grandchildren and how they like to eat them. I ordered the Ruby Doo which is the basic hot dog with ketchup only but I added spicy mustard. My husband got the Scarletto which came with sauerkraut grilled onions mustard. He loved it. There is one outdoor covered table (for 6) to sit at if you're staying but your looking at parked cars! Not a bad view if you like to look at lumber. If you're at Lowe's and you get hungry don't pass this up. It's yummy! read more

This is a great restaurant, run by Margaret and Rudy, (my grandparents). It's not a bias, the dogs are actually great. To note, all of the low reviews are either from a person not knowing about the fake doodle dogs that was going around for a little bit (they don't use mayo AT ALL) or someone trying to steal their hot dogs recipe (they are not from Costco) Margaret was defensive because of the rude costumer. This place is amazing for so many reasons! First, the customer service is beyond amazing. They are the kindest couple & are willing to answer all the questions you have about their menu. They are so happy to entertain the kids with friendly comments & smiles. Second, the hot dogs are grilled & so fresh. Plus, they are huge! The kids split a basic hot dog, which my son said was the best hot dog he's ever had. I had the hot dog with fried onion on top. We were the last customers due to selling out, so they gave me some chili to try. I'll definitely be ordering a chili dog next time. The chili is so flavorful & has an excellent spice to it. Fantastic dogs with great ingredients. This is not your usual mobile hotdog stand. These are gourmet dogs!! Rudy does a great job of keeping the condiments ice cold and the dog and bun nice and hot. We checked out this fun little hot dog stand in front of the Lake Pleasant Lowe's for a hot dog for our daughter. Got just a basic Doodle Dog plain as can be for our three year old. The two owners were very friendly with fun personalities and a good mix of music playing for all to enjoy. From the single bite I had to help her finish, it was actually very good. Granted, I don't eat a ton of hot dog stand/cart hot dogs so I am basing this off a limited sample size, but I thought it was really delicious. The dog itself had a very good and hearty beef taste, with some great seasoning. The buns are baked local for these folks and they were also very good. They were toasted on the flat grill and had a brioche quality to them. A little pricey at $4+ per dog, but the quality is there, no doubt. read more

Not your average hot dog stand!! Excellent quality beef dogs & Coney's. Their buns are made fresh, no preservatives and grilled for a non soggy dog! Customer service is very friendly!! They gave me a sparkling coconut water for free because they thought I'd enjoy it. They are in front of the Lowe's on Happy Valley & Lake Pleasant PKWY every weekend. The chilli was the best I've had. Paired with a perfectly cooked quality hot dog. My son is not a fan of hot dogs and even he loved it. He even asked if we could go back for another next weekend. The Chicago dog was pretty good. I'd give them 5 starts if it was a Vienna hot dog and the bun was steamed, not grilled. I'm from Chicago and it definitely was close to home but not truly authentic. Everything else is there though, the sport pepper, pickle, tomato, mustard, onion, neon relish, and the celery salt. The poppy seed bun is definitely a Chicago thing, just needed to be steamed. We recently discovered doodle dogs at Crossriver Community Park. They come every Thursday and it has become our go to for a quick family dinner & afternoon at the park.
