How on earth have i not finished this review!? Well it is time to fix that! We were in the area jack in June and we're all hungry for linner (lunch/dinner) and off to Yelp I went to search for a place for us to eat. That's how I came across Burgers & Brews! Our server had great energy and have us great info about the menu. Including the burger are handmade using chuck, brisket, and I believe sirloin. We order and after a little while our food starts coming out. HANDS DOWN - Best burger myself, my hubby, and the teenager have ever tasted outside of our own kitchen. From the flavor of the meat, the juiciness, everything...it was outstanding! The fat content in the beef is extra filling so we got full quickly. We ended up taking pretty much half of all our meals home. Lets just say this....We enjoyed our food so much that the kid wanted to go here for his birthday the following Saturday. Hubs and I didnt need to think twice. Im glad B&B is no where near us, cause if it were, we'd be going here at least a few times a month for "linner". read more

Our waitress, Bobbi, seemed extremely high. She was disorganized and inattentive. She initially came to take our order, then left and came back asking if she had already taken it. She kept forgetting things and She couldn't even get her words out right and you can clearly tell she was on something by the way she was acting. Even after repeating our order multiple times, it still came out wrong. What made things more uncomfortable was her behavior throughout the meal. The restaurant was empty, yet she hovered around our table constantly. She repeatedly interrupted us after just a few sips to ask if we needed refills, even coming very close and watching our drinks at eye level. It felt intrusive and awkward rather than attentive. Overall, the food was great, but the service was unacceptable and uncomfortable enough that it overshadowed the experience. It felt like I was being served by a crack head on the street. She should be embarrassed that she came to work that high. read more

When we arrived, we were seated and waited a little while for a server. When she arrived, she very politely advised us that the kitchen was running pretty far behind so orders might be a while before we get them, is that okay? We had no internet in packing back ip into the car to drive looking for something and figured it couldn't be really all that bad of a wait, it's not like the restaurant was full. So we said sure we'll wait... And instead of ordering something that has to be cooked how bad if we just order some chips and salsa because that should be faster right and she said well they're going in order so even chips and also will probably take a while. We kind of stared at each other and then said well I guess that's OK. She offered us the option to add on guacamole which we both love so we said absolutely. After she left I did take a look around the restaurant and noticed several tables that were empty and yet hadn't been cleaned off. So I'm not sure if they were shorthanded that day possibly or what. At any rate before too long, she came out and said well. I just found out the kitchen is catching up now, so hopefully it won't be much longer! She was very sweet and very kind and letting us know. When our food did eventually come out... We were unfortunately not very excited by it. for starters, the guacamole that we paid a few dollars extra for... I really hate to say it, but it was awful. I am a connoisseur of guacamole and I have made it myself for years as well and this stuff... Was awful as far as being a guac... it was just like chopped up and slightly smashed avocado with what looked like some pico de gallo mixed in. No seasonings or spices at all. Very dry very chunky very little to no flavor. Moving on to the meals...I had ordered the Italian chicken sandwich because the thought of melted cheese curds on top of a breaded piece of chicken topped with marinara sauce and a sandwich sounded delicious... With a side of fries I was a happy girl. My husband ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich with onion rings. We had discussed the menu items before we got to the restaurant, and these items are part of what made the decision that this is where we would go! For starters, my sandwich was served with his onion rings, and his sandwich came with my french fries. Second, the cheese curds on my sandwich were so overcooked that I honestly thought I had a second thinner, chicken breast on top of the breaded chicken... didn't taste or feel at all like cheese curds... Very chewy and almost rubbery. The marinara sauce... No seasonings no spices just mashed up tomatoes basically, no "flavors". Additionally, the underside of the actual breaded chicken was burned. My husband's Philly cheesesteak was overcooked to say the least. The meat was dryyyyy and absolutely looked well done and then some. As far as the environment inside the restaurant... Great music playing. Sports on the TVs, which was nice. But I'm pretty sure they had their air-conditioning set to about 50° because we were absolutely freezing to the point of shivering at the table while we were eating... And it was 80 degrees outside. I don't feel like what we paid was worth what we got that day, unfortunately. But we went on good faith based off of the menu. The place itself isn't bad and the staff are nice... But the food left a lot to be desired that day, and when the kitchen is running that far behind, I would think that that means my food should be coming out done really terrifically, but unfortunately, it was overcooked and even partly burned for the both of us so we probably won't be going back. The only reason I didn't give it less than three stars is because our server was really nice and she looked like she felt horribly awkward when telling us that the kitchen was running really far behind and having to ask us if that was OK. read more

Really tasty! This place was a solid choice for the west valley. They have several kinds of burgers and sandwiches, as well as wings. It's sort of a bar type atmosphere but definitely family friendly. The prices are reasonable, but a little more pricey. The quality was good and the fries and tots were particularly delicious. I got the Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich. Not that spicy for me, but still good. Our waitress was very nice and patient. read more

I had high hopes for getting a good burger here. Maybe I got unlucky but, I was so disappointed. I ordered the Western and asked to add Swiss with the cheddar and medium rare. I got home and it was just Swiss, well cooked patty and one tiny little onion ring. I would have thought I would get a proper temperature cook and a fresh tasting patty for that price. I don't think I will be eating here again. The server that gave my my food was friendly though and I bet it's a nice place to have a drink. read more

Probably one of the most solid burger spots in the valley if not the best. The low staring is because when someone says no mayo on a burger why do you put a whole heaping layer of mayo on it. I'd definitely love to give this place a better rating but in the 4x I've eaten here I've had to have my burger either refunded or re fired due to it being covered in mayo. read more

We had a large group for football and we originally had a table reserved at another bar. Our reservation was bumped in lieu of the owner so I went on Yelp and found this place. They could accommodate us, and when we showed up in 5 minutes, the table was ready. Our group had kids and the previous place was too crowded, too loud, too divey, and the A/C couldn't keep up. Burgers and Brews was the total opposite of the previous place. It was spacious and you could easily hold a conversation with people. There were ample TVs broadcasting all of the games. It was very clean. And there was ample parking outside. My husband loves Guinness and they have it on tap! The food was really good-especially the wings. They were meaty. The service was a little slow, but only because they definitely weren't expecting a party of 12 to show up. I'm surprised this place isn't more popular because it should be. The server automatically split all of our checks without asking. And the owner asked one of our crew if he wanted the Broncos game turned up. Love this place -- been eating here since 2019 when they opened. Delicious burgers, fantastic appetizers (totchos, wings, zucchini/mushrooms, pretzel bites and onion rings are on point!) and an excellent selection of alcohol and canned/bottled/draft brews. We've had ALL the burgers and they're ALL phenomenal. They use a special grind that is lightly seasoned and delicious. It's our Fri nite go-to, can't speak highly enough about this place!! Super friendly, always smiling, and treated me and my family like royalty. Real talk: the first time I came in, I rolled up on a motorcycle in 115-degree heat looking like a baked potato in leather. The bartender saw me, didn't say a word, just handed me a giant glass of water like some hydration angel and kept 'em coming. MVP. The vibe? Think "hidden gem" meets "chill oasis in a shopping center" meets "why haven't I been coming here my whole life?" Casual, sports bar type atmosphere. Laid back, good for couples, families or just to have a drink at the bar. This was a our first time dining here as we are not from the area and just happened to pass by while starving. :) Had the wings and a salad each, so nothing special, but delicious and hit the spot. The wings are of a good size and they have plenty of flavor. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and prompt. Ordered a chicken sandwich which tasted like rubber. Super oily, tasted like old oil was used. Came with cheese on it even though the menu doesn't state it comes with cheese on it. First ordered off the website where doordash took over which was fine but it took them way too long to get the food out to the driver. For as long as the food took it was terrible, my wife had the nachos which were soggy I had the cheese steak which looked amazing in the photos with the loaded fries. The cheese steak was overcooked and visibly burnt to a crisp. I lived in Philly for 4 years so I know what a cheese steak should look and taste like. The Cheese was not even close to fresh of enough and even if the steak was cooked properly it was lacking. Food was excellent. Vibes were good, like your typical less rowdy sports bar. Very family friendly. Kiddo loved her food. My mom had a mule. I don't remember which one but she said it was delicious. I thought my food to go was always good, but it's definitely even better if you're actually getting it right there lol. Yeah it's not a surprise, but my point is, you probably won't be disappointed with to go food or dine-in. I had the Mac n cheese burger. It's huge and delicious, not too spicy, and the tots are always perfectly cooked. The burger was cooked exactly as I wanted. Yassssss. Kiddo loved her food so much. We decided to stop in on a whim for a few drinks and maybe a small bite to eat since we'd already eaten a little earlier somewhere else. When walking it you're greeted by a sign to seat yourself. There were quite a few people eating and chatting in a few booths, but we saw no employees at first glance. The bartender soon came out from the back and offered us something to drink. The place isn't huge, but decent amount of seating. There are of course TVs to watch as well. We opted to share a chili dog, side salad and southwest egg rolls. Everything was fairly quick to come out and the chili dog was one of the best I'd ever had. I loved they crisped the bun so it didn't get instantly soggy. Also a good quality all beef hot dog. Side salad I wasn't impressed with. It was very basic and bland. The egg rolls were good . We'll definitely have to try their burgers next. I did go to their location in New River before it wax sold and enjoyed one there. I was told by the bartender the menu is the same here. Service was a bit slow, but it looked like they only had three employees counting who I'm guessing was the cook helping everyone. The bartender was kind and efficient. Decent selection of beers, but not as many as you'd expect from a larger brewery. They even had a sour in a can. read more

Today was about my 5th trip to B&B, even though it is a 30 minute drive across town. Took a few buddies who had not been. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Menus were brought out quickly, our server explained a few menu items, and we were on our way. Drinks came out quickly, I got the macaroni and cheese burger. It was great, although I still slightly prefer their classic burger, which really is a classic burger that reminds me of a backyard grilled hamburger in Ohio circa 1961. I read 'best of" food lists way more than my cardiologist thinks I should, but I am utterly amazed that Burgers and Brews does not get mentioned more in those discussions. I honestly don't think one can compare smashburgers to classic beef patties, so I don't. In the latter category, IMHO (apologies to Jack Durant), B&B makes one of the 5 best burgers in Maricopa County. The tater tots on the side were slightly crispier than some people like the, but I feel certain that if you ask them to prepare them the way that you want, they will accommodate you. And their prices do not break the bank. Give them a try. Ambiance is a clean, family friendly sports bar, If you like sports, they have plenty of TVs. read more
