The wings are surprisingly really good, certain times/days they have free pool, and one of the hiring managers that was running the bar at the time when we went in was so nice! We went at about 3pm on a Monday or Tuesday and the ambiance was slow/chill which we definitely was hoping for! I honestly have no complaints whatsoever. read more

This is the first time I've been back to hinesville since they remodeled the place a long time ago. Used to come here almost every day back when I was stationed at Stewart. It was always a good time and the best place to play pool. They even had a pool league. I can't say much about it now since I'll probably never come again. I mean, it looks nice now that it's remodeled and nobody smokes inside so it doesn't smell bad. Kind of strange that everything looks new, except they never changed the moldy looking, nicotine stained ceiling tiles. I don't really drink anymore so I didn't have any alcohol. It was a Thursday night, so it was slow, but the employees seemed to be preoccupied and inattentive. Honestly it seems super lame now and the pool prices are kind of ridiculous. I'd rather just play per game with quarters instead of $12 for 2 games because we played slow. Maybe it would be different on the weekend, I just wasn't impressed by the "new and improved" place and employees. They do have bar food, darts, music, and a whole back part where I think they have a DJ and karaoke some nights. read more

I'm at a loss of words. This place served me what I thought was a non alcoholic drink but was actually a vodka Red Bull. I committed some horrible sin by coming here. I showed up on a Monday I had off and had to wait 10 min until I could get a servers attention. She was more interested in selling cigarettes out of the vending machine than in bringing me a drink. After another ten minutes and another server asking if I need anything I got an obviously reconstituted burger. I finished my beer and despite having left $4 in cash as a tip for my drinks I had to wait to check out. The same idiot who ignored me waving at her to buy a drink for the first ten minutes of my visit then got offended when I didn't close out my card with a tip for her. Don't tolerate this bar, if you are stuck in Fort Stewart I am sorry, but don't give these leeches your money. Go anyplace else but this shithole. The food is mediocre, the service is worthless, and there is no atmosphere or entertainment. I wouldn't have left this review if Google hadn't kept suggesting I revisit this worthless pit. I cannot describe this place other than the truest dive bar I've ever had the misfortune of visiting. Normally I like dive bars bars because they have character but this place is pathetic. The drinks are weak and over priced, the beer on tap is usually skunky, and the wait-staff is horrible. Prime example: the waitress asks me for my drink order, I ask for a run and Coke, hand her my money and she disappears. 20 MINUTES later she returns empty handed and asks me again if I'd like anything to drink. I replied yeah id like the drink I payed for. She puts a real confused look on her face and walks off. Another 20 MINUTES later she returns with my drink saying" sorry the bar was really busy". Well I'm looking at the bar and it's got a total of 4 people sitting there and most of them are watching tv. Needless to say she did not get a tip. If you like pool this is probably the best option in town. But if you just want to hang with your friends and have a few drinks look elsewhere. decided to eat at doodles during late lunch dinner, beside the beer, food was burnt and tasted horrible. whoever is running the bar needs to find a different job. i had their pickles and they were burnt. had their onion rings and they were burnt. bartender did not seem to realize that I was sitting at the bar for 30 minutes before she acknowledged me and served me. i was afraid to ask for wing after the customer next to me bit into a wing and it was still raw. definitely will not recommend. both bartender and food were horrible. As soon as you walk in the place. The place smells horrible. Close the bar it looks a mess over there. I went on a Wednesday where the wings were .50 all day and my meal came up to 14.00. I had a order of fries and a sprite I wasn't expecting my meal to come up to no more then 10 bucks. This place has fell like the Great Wall of China. A year ago this place was awesome. Probably the best & safest place to go. OMG. SMH. Not lmao. It is not even laughable, it scary and sad. Motorcycle gangs, 1 waitress and I believe something was mentally wrong with her. There for an hour waiting for 2 drinks that never showed up, so we decided to leave after 1 game of pool (our waitress was behind the bar watching people play pool). We we're so disappointed in the service and atomsphere, we started our second game but couldn't finish 3/4 of it. Nevertheless, being the fine establishment it has become the male Latino cashier (I hope it wasn't the manager) tried to charge our table for the drinks, the obviously slow (not speed) waitress, never brought us. This place used to be fun, now the back section is 21+ and you have to pay to go back there even if you aren't drinking from the keg. Honestly Ioved this place. I like dark stereotypical bars though, lol, so if that's your thing you'll like it here. My drinks were always made pretty good, I did have some long wait times when it was busy but that's what you get on a busy night almost anywhere. I really likes the booths next to the pool floor. They're great for sitting and bsing at with a little seclusion. I didn't like gatas, it was too...idk the word to use...I guess "buckle/American eagle wearing clothes/let's play corn hole" type crowd. If rather sit, drink and kick back. It's definitely worth a stop in. It really grows on your. Thursday nights are the best. Saturdays they stop serving at midnight (county thing) so plan accordingly. I didn't like the raised bar. The tables and chairs up there made it hard to move when more than ten people were in the place. I'm prior service, mid twenties, got out two years ago. It's an army town, so you'll have a ton of that obviously. Doesn't bother me but some people have an issue with it. My advice would be try a Thursday night around 930. It's a chill place to put back a couple drinks with a friend or a down to earth gal. Enjoy :) read more

Hubby and I went here to play pool before our movie on a Friday night. We arrived around 7 pm and was greeted by the bartenders at the front desk. They asked for our IDs and if we would like anything to drink. One of the girls was very nice and smiled, she was the one to grab our drinks. The other two females were cold, kind of rude, and very inattentive. I asked them a question and I didn't get a response, so I raised my voice and tried again. Perhaps they didn't hear me the first time. One girl smiled and helped me while the other ignored me with a sour look on her face. I didn't expect her to kiss my butt cheeks, but you would think they are in the service industry that they would have better customer service than she did, especially when you are the first face people see when they walk in. We were given a table but were left to find the cue sticks on our own. Finally the ball gets rolling when we start playing and a waitress named shanna ( I think) helps us to order fried pickles and displays awesome customer service skills. She brought a better atmosphere to the place and made our experience here a great one. She was very attentive to our needs and seems like a great asset to this company. Overall we did enjoy ourselves playing pool and having a few beers with delicious long cut fried pickles. We will be returning and I will update my review with any new information and pics! We went there again a week later and received a killer greeting by a seemingly happy worker! It totally made us feel comfortable and welcomed! Usually enjoyed coming here. Not so much lately though. Food isn't that great at all and overpriced for its quality. Drinks and bartenders are great, not so much the waitress staff. There was one waitress there that had crazy colored hair and wouldn't stop talking at all the whole night and let my food get cold. The manger is a very rude man himself and it's disappointing and disgusting hearing the way talks inappropriately to women. The drinks suck here and the waitresses have lousy customer service, also the bartenders are slow you have to call them a million times before they serve anyone because they're too busy flirting with someone then paying attention to other customers... They allow people to smoke inside so the place is like a hot box of cigarette smoke. If you just want to play pool and meet a random person to annoy you I guess you'll like it. Be prepared to pay $6 average for a small drink full of mostly Ice. One time I went with a few friends and we stated we wanted a closed tab and it took the bar tender at least 15 minutes to give us the card back while she was right in front of us. I stopped by here on a Friday night after having a party a work on Fort Stewart. I walked in by myself seemed like an alright crowd for a Friday. The name still confuses me not really sure how doodles be drinking, pool and music but anyways. The layout is that of a pool hall kinda as you walk in to your right is a large pool floor with maybe 10 table(didn't really count). Straight ahead of you is a raised bar area with an L shaped bar. I was able to walk right up to the bar and grabbed a seat since it was to busy. But then I ended sitting there for almost 30minutes waiting for a drink. The lady sitting next to me even told the bartender I needed a drink when the bartender have her drink but it still took them another 15 minutes to get me a single bottled beer. After I finally got my beer I had go to the bathroom so I went wandering around. I found there was a second room where a band was setting up to play. Overall I had one beer there so I don't feel I can completely trash the place but service was lacking. The atmosphere is probably near as good as it gets for drinking in Hinesville. read more

Awful customer service! Waitresses are so rude, eye rolling and they speak to you in such a condescending tone. I've never been to a place where the customer service was so bad. Karaoke was terrible and the dj does not follow any rotation. I waited three hours to sing one song with others singing multiple times. Pool was ok but expensive, paid $29 for two people to play pool for three hours. Won't be going back! read more
