    Life sized dinosaurs

This place is a GREAT stop off of I-80. The LIFE-SIZED dinosaurs set into the hills of PA are spectacular, not to mention old train cars, model trains, mini golf, coffee, and ice cream. But seriously: DINOSAURS!! Delicious iced latte (whole milk, coffee flavored (no syrup)). Smooth and delicious with no burnt or bitterness. So good I got a second one after checking out the dinosaurs and train cars. The depot building is beautiful and the bathroom was actually lovely. Friendly service. The only thing I would add would be a changing table and hooks for coats/bags in the bathroom. This is worth getting off I-80 to see. This is the about the Aegis coffee at Doolittle's Depot.

When visiting family in the area, we frequently stop here for a bite to eat. This is an all welcome type of place. Fun little things for the kids (and those of us who forget we are adults), photo ops, great casual atmosphere, and ICE CREAM! It's an order at the window and seat yourself type of place. Quick and friendly service with generous portions.

Holy Mac and cheese bites at a little hole in the wall! I've always gotten off this exit to refill and sometimes spend the night at the holiday inn, but never have I ever made it to this little restaurant until yesterday. I tried the pizza burger and the Mac and cheese bites and those bites are some of the best Mac bites I've ever eaten in my whole entire life. Period.

A true treat with plenty to see, eat & do. From authentic train dining rooms to mini golf, plan to spend an hour or so & bring a camera.

Waited over an hour for dinner. Ended up just leaving and paying for drinks. Horrible! Waitress was sweet, but poor girl had no help.

Cute corny roadside place that I'd recommend to take a stop at when driving I-80.

Service: there were only about 3 workers on the main floor, and they had the best customer service, and worked very well together between the bar, bussing tables, and giving great service! Ambience: the decorations for Christmas were beautiful! We loved the ornaments as a centerpiece. We also appreciated the crystal glasses to drink from. Food: 1. Best ranch I have ever had I had it with the zucchini fries and it was addicting! 2. My family all enjoyed their food! Everyone said everything was cooked and seasoned well and tasted delicious! We would love to come back here to eat for another visit!

They came out hot and with ranch dressing they were even better! We also tried the potstickers, and they were just ok. We shared the beer battered fish with onion rings and coleslaw. The fish was wonderful! The onion rings were good and the coleslaw was average. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. The room could be great but had an odd layout. It also felt like a big room they were not sure how to put the tables and chairs. I think we will be back for sure for fish on Fridays during Lent

My wife, who's Italian, wants to take this +1 hour trip several times a year just to come here because it reminds her of the various "Mom & Pop" restaurants of her hometown in northeast PA. It sits in downtown DuBois with plenty of parking options nearby. The restaurant is good sized but it also does a lot of business so plan ahead on the weekends. The inside has a cozy/hometown feel with pictures of their family all over the walls. I don't think much has changed to the interior in those 20 years and that's okay by me. For this outing we opted for the antipasta salad, Italian wedding soup, veal parm and stuffed manicotti. Their dishes are more traditional italian (i.e. not olive garden) and they offer lunch, half, or full-sized portions. Their gravy has a good balance between sweet and savory. They also make a great fresh baked loaf of bread and they're happy to bring several to the table throughout the course. It was a special occasion so we closed out the night with their famous strawberry cheesecake. Service was excellent and the bill, with several drinks, was around $60 for 2. This is not a chain; it has character, it's not polished but it's a true gem of spot in rural PA. I'm glad places like this still exist!

Unfortunately, I found my main underwhelming--the gnocchi texture was oddly try, and the signature sauce was too sweet for my liking. But enough was promising that I'd return if passing through, I'd just order differently.
