There is a lot to be said for this little establishment. Rose's is always jam packed. With a homey ambiance, they offer your classic mom & pop options. I'm not sure why I don't visit here more often. The food is good & they are quick to top off your coffee which I love. Rose's is especially great for breakfast, brunch & lunch. I need to try out their dinner one of these days.

Delicious! Super friendly service, free WiFi, and wonderful home cooked, fresh diner food. Stopped here on our way to Niagara Falls and we were so glad we did! We would come again in a heartbeat.

I love random podunk places they always seem to be the best. You can tell it's a pretty dedicated crowd that comes in here. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The menu was diverse and extensive. We were here for breakfast and they had a wide variety of omelettes, breakfast combos, sandwiches, French toast, pancakes, bowls, scrambles and more. Ordered the combo with two eggs, sausage, pancake, home fries. Everything was wonderful. The potatoes were spectacular and the sausage links were amazing. The pancake was light and fluffy. The place has a good charm to it. We sat in a booth and there was enough space and the seats were comfy and roomy enough to fit two on one side. The floors were a little dirty but that's part of the charm. Would go again and recommend for sure.

UN BE LIEVABLE…read more The food, the service, the value, the staff! Hard to put into words how cool this night was at the bar as a solo dude here in PA on business. They had cheese, chicken and steak options on their quesadillas. I asked if they could do grilled shrimp instead. "YEP" It was the largest, chunkiest, tastiest quesadilla I've ever had! They tossed in sour cream, salsa and pico without batting an eye or adding cost to it. I asked the gal that emerged from the kitchen if she was the chef. She was indeed the saint who made my quesadilla, so I was able to let her know I had just consumed the nectar of the Tex/Mex gods in her offering. The bartender/my server was the nicest, most easy going person ever. He could be selling airplanes for Boeing but somehow he's here doing his craft. I've traveled the US and have gone to literally hundreds of sports bars/restaurants etc. It's hard to describe when you don't encounter a negative person or scene in any conversation or request. If I lived around here I'd sleep in the parking lot so I don't miss a meal or drink oppo. If there were 10 stars I'd give it. I've left some harsh reviews so I don't type the above lightly. To the owners of this patch of golden humanity..... THANK YOU! Why? For finding and hiring great people who care about their work, products and guests. If you're reading this and deciding where to grab a drink or quality food, -----stop here and thank me later.

Stopped here while making our way to Buffalo, NY. A quick search of Yelp showed that everything in…read morethis town is a diner, so we randomly chose American Diner as our lunch spot. It's not much to look at from the outside, and the interior is about the same. Upon entering, we definitely got the "local vibe." It didn't feel like You-Don't-Belong-Here. It felt more like You-Aren't-From-Here. Not unfriendly, just an acknowledgement that we were strangers. Seating was tight so the 5 of us added an extra chair to a booth meant for 4. Our server was pleasant. The ladies room was super clean and very nice, but Big Daddy said the men's room left a lot to be desired. Our food came out hot. The burgers were so-so. Definitely not the best I've ever eaten. But the fries were good, so that helped make up for it. Big Daddy really enjoyed his fish & chips, and Kid #2 said the chipped beef gravy was delicious. We probably would try someplace different if we were traveling through again, but overall it was pretty good.

This place is well named. It is what comes to mind when you think of the classic American Diner. It…read moreis a haven for comfort food. From the simplicity of the edifice to the no-frills, hometown, 1960's appearance of the dining room, this place is a throwback...in a good way. We stopped here because it was on our route. It looked like a good, solid choice based on the description and the reviews. And it looked like a choice that was not too expensive. The location was truly what you could term "roadside" on US 322, because it was indeed right next to the road. The exterior appearance was certainly not elegant, but the building was in good shape. The interior was a bit cozy, and the layout was significantly wider than it was deep as you would expect with a small, hometown diner. The decor and furnishings were simple, though certainly adequate. We were seated right away. The service was very good as our server attended to us right away. She was very efficient and our food was delivered rather quickly after our order. The menu offered classic mid-Atlantic American comfort fare. Items such as burgers, a variety of sandwiches, pork chops, baked ham and liver and onions were featured. My wife opted for a simple BLT accompanied by chips, which was quite good. I chose the Baked Fish with mashed potatoes and a starter salad. We're both watching calories and these were great options for that. The value was excellent. The final bill with food, tax and tip (we had water to drink) was $13.00 per person. I would try this place again if circumstances allow.

It felt like you were in an old country dining room. I loved it. I got the country fried chicken with eggs and home fries. The kid got a sausage and egg sandwich and the wife got a western omelette. I got a side of scrapple, well.. because I never had it and had to try it. Everything was great. To top it off, the price can't be beat. For 3 people, it ran us $45. Back in NJ, we're dropping a C note easily on the breakfast that we had. On the way out, the had a little "snacks to go" and in there was..... crickets. Yes, real crickets. I had to get it. Didn't taste like anything but I can now say I've ate a cricket. If you're on a trip on Route 80 and looking for something outside the box... This is the place to try!

We really enjoyed our early dinner here. The menu had plenty of good choices ranging from…read moresandwiches and burgers to homestyle meals such as turkey or meatloaf. I had sirloin tips and mashed potatoes with brown gravy. The steak was cooked as I ordered and pretty tender for diner steak. We also shared an appetizer of chicken bites (zingers) which were very good. The dining area is charming and clearly from another era. The portions here are not 'you can eat for 3 days from 1 order' huge, they are filling but not probably shareable sized. Seniors will appreciate the smaller portions along with a drink and desert for a low price offered for 55 and over. I absolutely loved that I could eat my (non-senior) entire dinner and a few chicken bites without being too full for dessert. I had a single scoop sundae for desert and it was just what it sounded like. Including tax (but not tip) our 2 normal entrees, 2 soft drinks, 2 deserts and a shared appetizer came in just under 60 dollars. That's an extraordinary value in 2026.
