She is SO patient. My newborn was wide awake before the shoot started and she took her time...(2 hours or more) helping me get the baby to sleep (mixture of me nursing and Michelle swaying/singing to baby). Eventually baby fell into deep sleep and we got excellent, I mean excellent pictures. For the moms out there, Michelle has everything you need. She even thought of things that I never ever ever thought she would have (for example: a boppy pillow for nursing, space heater to keep newborn warm, white noise on blast to help soothe infant !). She is so very thoughtful. Michelle is a down to earth professional and I wish we could have had this experience with our first baby. Or even for our wedding or maternity photos. We found her late, but better late than never! She did just move to the area from washington earlier this year. The price is affordable for all the detail and time she takes with her clients. I got married this past weekend in Santa Fe! After combing the internet for photographers in the…read morearea, I happily landed upon Desiree & Seth. Loved that they are a married couple, their story, and the beautiful work they had posted. All my correspondence with Desiree before the big day left me at ease, and excited! Friday (day before the wedding) we went out for our Connection casual pictures, and had a blast. Was a perfect time to get used to cameras, and get to know Desiree & Seth. The next morning I get a text from sweet Desiree, and she sent us a surprise sampling of our pictures! While I was already excited for our pictures, this has left me thrilled to see all the other things they have done!! On the big day Desiree stayed with me, and Seth with my husband for pictures - nice arrangement! Desiree was a total professional - respectful of my family, and would laugh and participate in jokes. We then went and walked around town in our wedding garb for pictures. Again - such fun! They had also saved some spots for pictures just for the big day. They traveled from New Mexico to Southern California to shoot our wedding and made it very well worth it. It has been over a year since we got married and I still go through photos and our video in complete awe. They captured everything, and tell a beautiful story through their photos.
