My friends and family will tell you I am a ham for the camera. The second I see one out in public,…read moreI will photobomb or strike a pose just to get some attention (just scroll through my selfie museum pictures on Yelp and you get the idea). The reason I tell this story is because that's how I met Ciree. She was in Colorado shooting an event, and I spotted her from across the crowd. Luckily, she needed a ham, or someone willing to pose, so we struck up a conversation and had a couple of laughs. I also asked Ciree if she did photo shoots, and she said she did. So I scheduled some time with her while she was in Colorado before she headed back to California. We communicated via email to get ideas of what to expect and what to wear, and then we just happened to pick a very hot summer day at sunset with Cherry Creek State Park and Reservoir as a beautiful backdrop. I guess it was karma that the mosquitoes wanted to photobomb our photo shoot, but Ciree had brought some sage that she had picked to burn, and it did help a bit. Ciree makes her subjects feel comfortable, which is good, because anyone who has posed for pictures knows that sometimes it seems like what you're doing is wacky at the moment. But when you get to see the proofs, you understand the photographer (in this case Ciree) knows what they are doing. I was so happy to have met and worked with Ciree. Not only is she professional, but she's fun and full of stories. We both like to travel, so we were able to share stories. And she's a pet lover, so keep that in mind if you want to pose with your furry kids. Ciree offers all sorts of packages and products, so you will find something that will work for you. Trust me, you won't be disappointed booking with Ciree!

Adam was the guy at every Yelp event I went and I watched him at work and the results of his unique perspectives of people, life, events, etc. Though cautious whom I befriend on Facebook, I didn't hesitate to send him friend request because I get to see some of his works, especially enjoyed the ones of his adorable daughter. Choosing him among 4 candidates to take my celebratory photos was not a hard decision and he did a perfect job. My friends who own the Pilates studio where the photo shooting took place said they had paid more $$ for less quality work. I am so happy to see the better than expected captures he took of me and it will be always a fond memory!

You know what I'm talking about, the ones that are too timid to get a good shot to the ones that setup their tripod in the middle of everyone's view. Adam's skills are truly a talent, he doesn't stay in one place trying to setup the right angle and get soooo artsy that he misses the great moments that are happening around him, he finds the best of both worlds. Let's face it, some people are naturally photogenic and well... Some might have a face for radio. Adam has the ability to capture people as if they were posed. The shots are in the moment but look as if the person was staged, so the ugly cry face or weird angles aren't something you have to be worried about seeing on Yelp. Mr Perfect Personality! He's fun and energetic, it makes you want to take snap some shots of him, which I've done at every event that he's been at. However, he wants to capture people doing what they're doing, not yelling at them to look at him. If I could redo my wedding I would have hired him. We can t go back in time, so make sure you keep him in mind for your future events, I know I will!

The good, the bad, and the review…read more.. We used Kevin's for our wedding in September of 2014. They are fairly expensive, but we wanted to splurge on pictures because we felt they were very important. We got a lot of great pictures, don't get me wrong. However, we got zero close up face photos and zero pictures of our hands with our rings. Overall, the pictures that were taken were great, and a few were very exceptional at the Botanic Gardens. I did have to tell the photographer, (not Kevin) that we were "for sure" doing photos from across the water (this is the reason we chose Kevin's in the first place) even though he disagreed with me about it at first after our ceremony and during our couple shoot. I'm so glad we did because these turned out to be our favorite pictures of the day. Maybe he traded any close up pictures for across the water pictures in his mind time wise? He could have been stressed about time since we were running behind schedule. I will definitely take the blame for that one, though I'm sure most weddings run slightly behind schedule. I am disappointed that I don't have close up face pictures of me and my hubby on our special day. Also, I'll I don't have a traditional picture of our hands together with rings. I was hoping for some more artistic touches and special, quiet, romantic, serious moments. There were no plays on black and white with one color in the editing or anything like that. However, the across the water pictures are absolutely EXCEPTIONAL. I have mixed emotions about this review. Both exceptional photos, yet some missed moments also. I'm sure it's nearly impossible to remember everything in a limited amount of time. A HUGE plus is that the photographer was very kind, fun and made our bridal party and family feel relaxed... Especially during the reception. As a tip for any wedding photographer, I would definitely write down the EXACT photos you want in advance so you aren't left without something that's important to you. It's something you won't think of on your special day and you rely on the photographer to call most of the shots. There is stress on the photographer as well, so some things can just be forgotten. We didn't get to meet with our specific photographer to discuss what photos we really wanted before our wedding day. I did chat with him over the phone, but I should have been more proactive about meeting with him in person. Overall, some very exceptional photos and a good experience.

He had good ratings on Yelp and elsewhere locally & did homes for sale pics. His pics looked good. We started the process to get him on contract for the job. I started over a month in advance as I was going to be out of the country for 3 weeks during that time. His tracking of communication was lacking. He kept pushing back on the exact day I needed the shots done while going back and forth on e-mail while I was very busy out of country. I was right & he was wrong about it because I clearly remember what we agreed on because I had the higher vested interest whereas he had to track other jobs as well. So I just gave up and relented. I needed it done on a Friday so that I could list the house on that Saturday & had a housekeeper scheduled for Thursday to clean the whole house. I had to move that all up a day which cost me an extra day to get the house ready for the shots. He knew this yet passively complained about the fact that I was still moving furniture around that morning after the all day cleaning the day before. He took the shots & they were as expected-again-not rocket science and matched what one sees on other quality home listings. Then he sent me the link w/password to download the pics. Guess what? The file sizes were HUGE and thus unusable to upload to Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace-WTH? They were all at least 25-30 mbs. or more! So I had to contact him yet again after the job was done to get normal sized shots (1-2 mbs.) and did get them. Overall, in closing, during a time when I, as a certified Project Manager Professioal (PMP) was juggling an overseas trip and getting my house ready to show, well, dealing with his peccadillos was far from fun so buyer beware.

Eventually baby fell into deep sleep and we got excellent, I mean excellent pictures. For the moms out there, Michelle has everything you need. She even thought of things that I never ever ever thought she would have (for example: a boppy pillow for nursing, space heater to keep newborn warm, white noise on blast to help soothe infant !). She is so very thoughtful. Michelle is a down to earth professional and I wish we could have had this experience with our first baby. Or even for our wedding or maternity photos. We found her late, but better late than never! She did just move to the area from washington earlier this year. The price is affordable for all the detail and time she takes with her clients.
