Approximately 3 weeks ago I had a new garage door installed. The installers left my home and after…read morelooking at the door again I realized they only put one screw in the opener bracket attached to the door. Reason being is that they over drilled the hole and it was too large to hold it . Hi Before they left I asked if there was any problem with the door opener and they said no. At this point I paid and tipped all three installers. I found no screws on the ground meaning that they realized what they did and never tried to remedy or tell me about the situation. I then texted the salesman Mr. Joe Quinn telling him what occurred and sent him a picture of the bracket in. He said we will send someone out to correct it. In the meantime I ordered a reinforcement bracket and installed myself. No one has contacted me since the install and thank God I'm handy because I was unable to use the door until I corrected the problem 2 weeks later. In fairness door was nice -company was prompt -and until I discovered the issue all was fine. Next time I will pay anyone who works on my home by credit card so issues like this can be contested.
