The cabinets in some places have come unglued...literally! I have a drawer that smacks into the knob of a cabinet when I open it. Why is that? I guess he didn't know how to measure properly or he just didn't care. The paint has chipped off of that drawer. The upper cabinets with glass allowed gnats to get stuck in the seams. Everytime you opened it you could see their dead bodies. When I brought that to his attention he told me he'd fix it and then made me schlep down to his shop in Franklin County with my infant son. Some of the lights detached within the first six months. I specifically requested and paid for a tip-out tray feature to hide my sponges. Never got it!! They now sit on top of my counter. What is really infuriating about that point is that I changed my sink from an apron style to a traditional stainless steal so I could have that feature. I found the owner to be condescending and rude when discussing these issues. It's my firm belief that because I live in SE Roanke and not on SML or Hunting Hills that my job wasn't very important. And the proof is in the pitiful results. I wish I would have just gone to a big box store. At least I would have saved some money.

It felt as though the company may have assumed I wasn't serious about the project or didn't have the budget -- a disappointing and unfair assumption if that was the case. Regardless, the lack of professionalism and basic communication was unacceptable. I can't speak to their quality of work because they never showed up, but based on this experience, I would not recommend them.
