The only reason there's a star is because you have to pick one! Just like other customers, Tim failed to inform us first off that the door comes unfinished and is extra after paying $4300 for a single door! He is completely rude, sarcastic and his work ethic is about as good as his customer service. My door failed a few months after installation and he guaranteed me a warranty, and refused to replace my broken front door! Instead he offered to glue it back together and paint it for my troubles! Friday 1 March 2024 - I contacted Doors by Tim in Rockledge on Tuesday 27 Feb 2024 to schedule a door frame repair of my inner garage door that needed to be replaced ASAP. I wasn't able to secure this door and I needed it fixed ASAP for security reasons. I was told by Cynthia from Doors by Tim that Tim (the owner) would come to my house and give me a quote on Wednesday 28 Feb 2024 between 12-1 PM. I rescheduled my work shift to be able to telework from home for this appointment. I waited and waited on 28 Feb 2024 for Tim to show up to this appointment at my house and I called at 12:30 PM to find out his status. He told me over the phone that he was busy but he would squeeze me in now rescheduled to later that day at 4:30-5:30 PM on 28 Feb 2024. Then I received a phone call from Cynthia around 4 PM on 28 Feb 2024 that Tim wasn't going to make this appointment. She rescheduled me to today Friday 1 March 2024 for 1-2 PM. I'm lucky I was off work today for this new appointment. I just received a phone call from Cynthia that Tim wasn't available today and that she needed to reschedule me for a third time to next Monday 4 March 2024. This is ridiculous, unacceptable customer service. It seems like Tim would tell Cynthia to call me and reschedule me about one hour prior to all of the appointments that were scheduled to come to my house to replace this door. I also have two other doors that I wanted to have replaced but now I'm NOT going to work with Tim at Doors by Tim at all. I found a handyman who will come fix my garage inner door and look to replace the other two doors today. I just want other people know that if you schedule an appointment if you can't make that appointment do right and call yourself Tim to reschedule or cancel. Now Matt at All Around Handyman and Lawn will be receiving ALL of my future work here at my house. Matt is here now and fixing my inner door. He came out and fixed this door on the same day I called him today. That is excellent customer service. read more

contracted Doors by Tim to replace 6 closet doors in my house...thought they sounded good...says he's a "Christian man"...well, $4000 later I'm completely unsatisfied. First thing, this is the first time I've ever wanted to change our doors in my home....I'm not an expert...that's why I hired one...so I thought. Little did I know that when they show you a white door in the catalog, it's actually not white...it's a shade of primer white. I then thought ok, no problem, I just pay $4000 for six doors, they must come in and paint them later. Nope. I was then told by Tim that that's how they come and that I would have to pay EXTRA to have them painted. What!? Obviously, I'm not irritated that I will have to pay more money to get the doors painted, but more so because Tim didn't tell me this little (being facetious) but made it sound like I was the dope for not knowing this! I explained that HE was the so called expert and he should have let me know this so that I could budget for the extra expense. Now, Tim turns it on me and says that I'M being rude. I explained, in a clam but stern voice, that I was a little put off by his response and the situation that I now find myself in and again, he should be taking some if not most of the responsibility for this situation. Tim doesn't want to hear any of this, he then makes a rude comment and hangs up on me! Now my doors don't work or slide open easily, they are an off white and I'm completely not satisfied. His workers were nice enough but they couldn't get the doors to open easily, telling me that "there new and stiff" or "it the doors Tim ordered, we can't do anyting else to make them work better". A 2x4 fell into our glass door and shattered it. We have three kids in the house under the age of two so we needed a replacement asap. Doors by Tim did just that! They came out and measured then went on a hunt to find us a door!! They said they could do it and they did!!! Integrity is vital and this company has it!! read more

They replaced the front door of our business. They were supposed to replace it with something of like kind. The threshold that you walk over is now so high that people have already tripped coming in the door. The owner did everything he could to explain why this was so except fix it. He said he would do something to mitigate the threshold height but never came back to fix it. They also never came back to paint the trim as they said they would. They charged more than other places for their services but don't give satisfaction to the customer. They pretty much just ignore you after they get your money. Not a good choice. read more

We ordered a vanity and top for a remodel at over $1000 and were called later to say they couldn't fill the order (soft close drawers). We agreed to take it with regular drawers and received $140 off. It arrived and had some chips. We were told it was a discontinued model so the best they could do was $20 off. Brought it home to install ourselves and realized the top drawers were not secured. Had to wait nearly a week for repair only to discover that ALL of the drawer fronts were installed upside down. Can't get new ones that aren't full of drilled holes. So the best THEY can do is offer a refund for the cabinet. I am trying to remodel in order to sell my home and I have a choice to pull it out and find a new vanity or fix it ourselves. DO NOT use this company. Inferior products, poor workmanship, and sorry customer service. Too high priced for all of the issues! read more

The prices this store offers is an insult to one's intelligence. I was shocked and offended of what the owner quoted me. I am only writing this review to educate my fellow customers out there. You can find out of state manufacturers 4 TIMES CHEAPER, yes you have read correctly, for the very same doors and windows. THE VERY SAME DOORS AND WINDOWS. And those out of state manufacturers will drop ship to your door. One of them I found and I will name here is doorclearancecenter. Don't bother getting this company out to your house. First of all, they charge $35 for an estimate. I would have never made an appointment after hearing that, but my husband was the one who called them and he thought it would be worth it, especially because they apply that fee to the work if you go with them. He was wrong! I was looking to get an estimate to replace two sliding doors. The woman they sent for the estimate did not seem to know much about the technical aspects of the sliding doors being offered. She did provide an estimate before she left the house, but it was more like a Mickey Mouse estimate. Not professional at all. There were no specs for the doors, no details on what the installation included. It was a total joke. It looked like a 5 year old prepared it. Ridiculous. And to add insult to injury, they were way overpriced. I mean, their estimate was almost double the amount of two other reputable companies in the area. Crazy. There is no way I would hire them to do the work. Now it makes sense why they charge the $35 fee. They're so overpriced no one hires them, so they probably figured they have to make money somehow. My mother was recently widowed, she had Tim out for an estimate on her bathroom, he pressured her into signing a contract and paying him, taking advantage of 60 year old widowed woman. Over the weekend, she has a second estimate that was significantly cheaper and she calls to say she wants to cancel. This apparently sent him into a fit of rage and he calls and verbally harasses my poor mother who's husband of 30 years just died. He says that the other people aren't going to do as good a job and he's only going to give a partial refund because he doesn't have to give her it all back (for what reason, I couldn't tell you). He'd already put in for a permit (only like 2 days had gone by and no dates had been set or anything) and even though he wasn't going to pick up the permit and therefore didn't have to pay for it, he says he won't give us that money back, it was about $100. She was so upset, she asked me to go in and get the check for the money she gave them. This guy will just take advantage of you and harass you apparently, please just go anywhere else, what an appalling experience and human being. read more
