I've been looking for a lot of clinicians in the meantime, but this place all focused on business rather than on therapy. My husband had too much dandruff on my head, but in just two sessions it was improved by 90% and I had difficulty with back pain(not too severe) and skin psoriasis. Gunilla, who was at the front desk, was just lovely and welcoming - I just had to mention this! she was always a pleasure. Anyway, I had my consultation with Taya which was very thorough. It was then that I actually realized how stressed I was. I seriously did not think I was until I answered the questions she had for me. Acupuncture helped me relax and, although it didnt quite relieve my backpains (from office work), it did give some improvement with my sleep and worries. During the sessions, the tables are warm and comfortable and so conducive to sleeping/relaxing. Lights are turned off and music was soothing too. The walls, however, are quite thin so me being a light sleeper, I can easily hear some outside chatter if there are any. And plus when the train passes by, the noise can be easily heard in some of the rooms. After going 1-2x a week for around 7 months or so I could definitely tell my stress levels were getting so much better. I do believe Taya and her acupunctures sessions helped a whole lot in the success of our pregnancy and that we now have a 5 month old baby after years of trying and waiting. Even until now, 10 months since my last treatment (since I havent gone back for more), I remember Taya for how good natured and skillful she was and thank that she became a part of our successful pregnancy journey!

I'm a pharmacist -- been doing it for over 25 years. I've dispensed more NSAIDs than I can count. Advil, naproxen, diclofenac, you name it. And I can tell you from experience, those drugs can do more harm than good -- ulcers, bleeding risks, interactions with blood thinners. So when someone suggested acupuncture, yeah, I was skeptical. But after my very first visit, I noticed a difference even before I got home. That got my attention. What really surprised me though was Dr. Lee's knowledge of food and inflammation. I'm a pharmacist and I was genuinely blown away. He explained how what I eat was affecting my pain, and that changed things for me. I'm 58 and I'm still playing competitive table tennis and golf. That's not nothing. Today I came in for a sore left knee from golf. He treated it, and while I was there, also took care of some vertigo that had come out of nowhere the day before.
