After multiple attempts to contact them, we finally had someone come out in July of 2014 (we moved in March). We agreed to upgrade our front yard with premium seed and topsoil, and our backyard with premium seed. After being put off many times, some random workers appeared in my backyard early in the morning in September while I was still in my pajamas. I asked them who they were and they told me they were just doing their job. I told them that if they were going to be working on my yard to come to my door and let me know, and that I would like their supervisor to call me. They disappeared and the supervisor called me that afternoon. I told him that I expected them to tell me if they were working on my yard. He told me they would change their procedure and do that from now on. He then told me that they left because they thought I was mad and would have to come back on another date. They came back October 11th to do the rock-hounding. They came back later in the week to put the seed down. We expressed concern with the seed being put down so late in the season. They assured us that they would come back in the spring if anything went wrong. We had a severe wind storm the next day and much of the seed blew away. We called and they, again, assured us that they would return in the spring. We have called several times since March, and have been blown off every time. Our yard looks like nothing was ever done. It is nothing like it should be. This company seems not to care if they have a good reputation since they have big contracts with developers. This is not good business practice. They did come back and do a half effort job of reseeding, but our yard is still spotty, at best. Stay far away!

Perfect for friends and family gatherings. I met with Chuck to discuss all of my wonderful preconceived landscaping ideas. Chuck came up with ideas and suggestions I had not considered. His son came out beforehand with even more ideas. Once construction began that same son took over as project manager and member of a hard working and diligent crew. His communication skills were excellent. The project was completed quicker than anticipated and exceeded both my wife and myself expectations. Job well done. We already have further "ideas" for next year. I hope Chuck and sons are not too busy!

I complained late last week because they barely touched it in the back. So they came by today and absolutely masticated the lawn, grass, weeds, bushes, some tree limbs. EDITED: I appreciate that they returned to blow away the mess they left earlier in the day. But it shouldn't be that the alternatives for some areas are that they don't cut it or they cut everything away including shrubbery.

We asked for them…read moreto plant grass, lay down mulch with shrubbery, and build up the areas in our yard that pool with water when it rains. Well, when they spread the seeds for the grass, they skipped rows and what is growing is mostly weeds anyway. When I call they don't answer the phone. When we finally spoke with the owner, he placed the blame on us. He said we didn't water. Well, we do water and we can prove that because the same areas on our lawn still pool with water. They never fixed that problem. When we informed Brian Palmer that our yard still pools with water, he said we never told him that. The bottom line, don't use Palmer's Landscaping.
