The second time, I didn't even bother getting other quotes--I went straight to A&S because of how efficient and effective their crew is. They even managed to come out the same day I called! Recently, after a month of waiting to spread the mulch from a tree grinding, I noticed that the job wasn't fully completed due to the challenging location (a large, mature tree in a tight two-foot area surrounded by a driveway and sidewalk). It was impossible for them to see all the remaining roots. When I reached out, they immediately recognized the oversight and had it resolved within 24 hours. I'm convinced A&S Tree Service has one of the most ethical business owners in Cleveland. I've had at least four trees removed by them, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of tree services.

A recent storm launched a large branch on a neighbors garage, while another branch was poised above my garage ready to break. Alex arrived same day as my call ( I sent him pictures so he knew this wasn't a leisurely take down. He spoke to me and two neighbors and even recorded a video for my insurance claim. The price was more than fair. The crew arrived on time and got to work 3 days later. They were fast, friendly and immaculate at clean up. I had both crane and a bucket truck, as well as their tree climber- who was fascinating to see his skill. These guys are the real deal. True "tree whisperers" who were faster than their estimated time, and also gave me an opportunity to add on additional small trees which Alex identified as future problems. Worth it. I will give my highest recommendation on both safety and speed, plus the price was fair! My situation was not one you want to be in- especially with a storm system looming on tomorrows weather- and they made sure we were ahead of it and safe. Unfortunately, that is not the way things ended up with the issues afterwards. The yard cleanup was not very thorough. If a better yard cleanup would have been done, they certainly would have noticed that a piece of their equipment was left behind in my yard. The other issue, which I didn't notice until the next day, was that they had caused a large crack in my sidewalk when they backed their truck onto my yard. I called them that day regarding the equipment piece left and the cracked sidewalk. At that time, I asked if the cracked sidewalk was something that they covered and was told it was. Also, that day, someone from the company came over to pick up equipment and to take pictures of the sidewalk crack. He informed me that someone from the company would be contacting me. Since that time, I've called 2 more times and left 2 more messages. It has now been over 3 wks. and there has been absolutely NO RESPONSE from Tree Service. If you have a problem, you will be completely ignored. I truly regret choosing Tree Service to do the job and I definitely would not recommend them.
