single handedly one of my best and easiest wedding decisions. Besides her work, which is unbelievable, at my trial, I just felt immediately at ease with her. I was so indecisive and everything I was stressed about she just made it go away. she looked at a couple pictures I showed her and what she did was even better. Then my wedding day, having her there changed the whole vibe of the day. I accidentally scheduled her too late but she came 2 hours earlier even though I made a mistake. she is just the loveliest person I have ever met and was incredible at dealing with very difficult personalities, and did it with a smile on her face. Then when she was doing my hair, she refused to let any of my other vendors make me feel rushed, she Made sure that I looked and felt beautiful and just calmed me down and reminded me everything was fine. It's weird but memories of getting ready on my wedding day, that one sticks out. Now her work (cue the drools). I have never been complimented so much about myself and my wedding party. Literally one just looked more beautiful then the next. No prommy updos, everything was flowy and beautiful but secure. She incorporated baby breaths and other flowers from a bouquet my sister got me. Each hair she did was creative and unique. Plus, I danced all night and slept in my hair and woke up the next day and it was literally perfect still haha there isn't enough good to say, just do yourself a favor and book. read more

Julie is a wonderful stylist to work with for a wedding! She did my hair as well as hair for all 7 of my bridesmaids and everything came out beautifully! Julie was super flexible and was happy to do two trials with me to help me figure out exactly what I wanted. She is quick to respond to emails and was very thorough in her communication of day-of logistics, etc. The morning of the wedding, she arrived at my house bright and early and was cheery and charismatic, putting myself and my bridesmaids at ease. She laughed with us and was a great addition to the morning festivities. Julie worked quickly but with precision and each style was beautiful! She had a wide range of skills and all the hairstyles (blowouts, half up, all up, extensions, etc. on lots of different hair types) were well done. Even though she worked straight through the day on 8 different hairstyles, she didn't tire and they just kept getting better! My hair held all night and I felt beautiful. Julie was my stylist for my wedding day and I cannot say enough good things about her. Julie is such a warm person, and that truly made the whole experience of getting ready for the big day a great one. With all of the stress that a wedding brings I did not have to worry or stress once about my hair or for anyone else in my large wedding party (12 in total). We had a big group and not once did we feel rushed and every girl had beautiful styles when finished. Better yet, when a few of the girls wanted slight tweaks to their hair once Julie had done it, she listened and improved the look. I just love Julie in general! She is fun, down to earth and a great Hair Stylist. She did my hair for my wedding and 5 of my bridesmaids. From the moment I sat in her chair for my trial I knew I was in good hands. She was responsive to the pictures I brought in and worked with me to get the style I was going for she did it so fast! I couldn't believe how quickly it went! She took pictures of my hair that day and we got in touch several times between then and my wedding to discuss other options and ways to tweak it to make it better. On the day of the wedding Julie came to the hotel and was a great addition to the group on the day of. She worked with my bridesmaids-most of whom had no clue how they wanted their hair done. All of them had different lengths and thicknesses of hair but she made them all look absolutely beautiful and they all loved their hair! I first found her after a string of appointments around Glastonbury and West Hartford that went from bad to worse and left me near tears each time. Besides not knowing how to work with my ideas, consult with me on techniques and products, they didnt listen to me! Since first sitting in Julies chair 8 years ago, I havent trusted anyone else. I have even referred my parents and several friends. In 8 years I have never had a bad experience from cut to color (and there has been alot!) I constantly get compliments. Not only did she do an amazing job on all 9 bridesmaids (including asking about hair type and getting hair styles before the big day) she did an incredible job on my hair. Julie is the only stylist I trust to do my hair as well as my 1.5 year old son! She does a beautiful job cutting my extra thick hair to make it look sleek and manageable. Julie is that stylist. The one who actually listens and somehow understands what I mean even when I don't have the right words. I come in with an inspo pic and vibes, and she breaks everything down for me: what we're doing, what the upkeep looks like, and what will work best for my hair without ever pushing me in another direction. Julie is amazing! I have an undercut (side shave) on all sides and she was able to take what little hair I have and create a beautiful updo for my wedding. this stylist completely destroyed a woman's hair with what her idea of an "ombre" looked like. when in reality, my 3 year old son could do a better job. the woman went back to get it fixed or get her money back for the hack job and this "stylist" refused. if she can't see what is wrong with the garbage job she did, she should not be a stylist. she might be "OKAY" at styling hair for proms or weddings, but don't let her near your hair with dye. read more
