Tried a restaurant, one of the few in Casco. We had a large group of 15 who they accommodated very well. Friendly staff, but the language barrier was a bit difficult, and thus didn't chat much (one day, hopefully will learn Spanish). Only one misunderstanding on the order which they fixed immediately. They didn't add a minimum tip for lg group. We tip more than 20% anyway but still prefer to decide the tip amount. (Note, The "fried fish" was an entire fried fish, but the flavor was very good per the person who ordered). The food was very good, with the BEEF TACOS WINNING as the overall favorite choice. Pricier than anticipated. Will go back, but stick to beef tacos. A bonus of good complementary chips and salsa baskets was provided too. read more

New management really tanked this place. This review is from our visit at 5:30pm on Sunday, December 11th. We started with margaritas and noticed right away that there wasn't any tequila in them. It was straight sugary margarita mix. As much as we wanted to say something our waiter wouldn't come back. They made it very obvious they didn't want us there. We ordered steak tacos and a steak burrito. In my picture attached to this review you can see that my burrito was a thick layer of cheese and a very little bit of steak. I cut the burrito in half to show that it was 1/2" of cheese and one tiny piece of steak. There was nothing else in the burrito. The tacos were also pitiful, but at least edible. Prices are very high for the Casco area. Our bill came up to $60 for a burrito, tacos, and two margaritas that were served without any alcohol. We noticed the kids menu Hamburger was $14 and a kids menu French fries are $9.95. Pretty outrageous! It's very unfortunate because we really liked the old Dos Caminos. read more

Updated: Carnitas/pork fajitas are amazing, but the Chili Rellenos are the best we have ever had and we know Mexican food. Gus has saved us from traveling to Green Bay for outstanding Mexican. Place is clean and the Margaritas hit the spot on a hot summer day! Gus we hope the rumors are true and you are expanding in Kewaunee County! Yahoo!!!! We were thrilled when we heard the owners of Roses in Luxemburg would be opening a Mexican restaurant in Kewaunee County and they have not disappointed. Very friendly service, homemade quality food, fair prices and excellent margaritas. Wish they sold them by the pitcher, maybe in the future. Chili rellenos are the best we have ever had, the carnitas are excellent and if you request carnitas fajitas you are in for a treat. While on a winery tour we stopped in Casco because we had seen good reviews on Dos Caminos. They open at 1600 hrs; and we walked in 5 minutes later. As we were the only people there, we became the center of focus of the young waitress. We started out with a couple of margaritas, that were really good. We ordered queso and chips with salsa for appetizers. The queso was a little thin, but very tasty. The chips were warm and crisp. The salsa was fresh and pretty mild. We both got enchiladas with beans and rice. The portions were prodigious and we left full. Didn't really like the tortillas they used for the enchiladas, though. This place is in a very small town. It's a drive to get there. While the food was pretty good, I know of equal or better Mexican restaurants in Manitowoc County. read more

Stopped here last year and had a pretty good experience so decided to stop on my way home and boy was I disappointed! Menu was WAY shorter and we weren't given chips and salsa. Everything was way overpriced. When we ordered salsa it was very watery and almost tasteless. We got a chimichanga and a chicken quesadilla and they were pretty good, we both finished our plates but I did find a chicken bone in my quesadilla. Honestly would not stop again. read more

The food was terrible and very pricey!! My chimichanga was super tiny and not worth almost 16 dollars. The rice wasn't even Mexican rice, was just white rice with carrots and wasn't even fully cooked. The owners were very unprofessional and you could tell they didn't want us there. This is such a great lunch spot, I'm reluctant to tell anyone about it! Lunch specials, 6 choices, for $7.49. Full Menu items between $9 and $11. Delicious Modelo Negro cervesas $2. A liter of Corona for $5! Small place, can sometimes get crowded. Chill and enjoy the Mexican music on big TV. Pork enchiladas and steak chimichangas has a full flavored cheese sauce. I was recently in the mood for Mexican food while I was in the Casco, WI area. I decided to stop at Dos Caminos. The restaurant is very unassuming and very small. This place is tiny and if you suffer from even a little claustrophobia, this may not be for you. The place seemed to be clean but appeared somewhat rundown inside and out. Some of the rundown appearance was due to the restaurant being in an old structure. I ordered the Chili Rellenos. They were served with a tiny portion of rice and beans. The rellenos were dripping wet. The moisture from the peppers had not been drained off. The food was not that good and the service was poor. They should not have put a new untrained server on the floor without a trainer. A drink cooler (fridge) was located in the dining room. Inside they had a 5 gallon clear container full of hot sauce they serve with chips. I bet the sauce was more than a day or two old. That container held a lot of sauce for a real small place (yuk). The had a boom box playing music blaring into the dining room. It was way too loud and we had to ask them to turn it down. Considering everything, I will not be going back unless something changes. This place is a little gem. The ambiance is casual with a clean and neat appearance. They have a large variety of beers and some mixed drinks. Now for the food. The combinations were excellent. The tacos and tostadas were really good. The nachos is huge so be prepared for a mile high plate that is covered in guacamole and all the fixings. They have lunch specials too. The service was spot on and the waitress has a good sense of humor too. Overall a winner. Definitely will return. read more

My fiancee and I just moved into town, and have been both craving authentic mexican food. So we searched online and boom, we found Dos Caminos in Casco via the interweb, and we crossed our fingers hoping it would be good. Parking was easy to find because no one else was there besides an elderly couple finishing up their meal. The restaurant was small, but remember we came here for the mexican food and not for the ambience. As my fiancee and I entered Dos Caminos, we were greeted by a waitress right away. The only waitress in the restaurant. She was attentive and polite throughout the dinner service, and always made sure we were satisfied with our dinner. She served us chips, which were stale, but it was free. Therefore, it was still delicious, and the salsa was pretty good - not too spicy. I ordered a horchata and water, and my fiancee ordered a blended pina colada margarita. The specialty drinks were very sweet and were served in big glass tumblers. I guess in Wisconsin, the bigger the better. But anyways, we ordered an appetizer to start our meal, which actually came together with our dinner entrees. The appetizers were delicious, but the fried calamari was too burnt and it seemed the cook used old oil to fry them, which gave it an unappetizing color. Everything else was spot on though. For my dinner entree, I ordered the burrito la campechana, which was so good - it came with rice and beans. My fiancee loved her seafood burrito as well. We both ordered sour cream on the side because we love our condiments on bomb ass mexican food! And here's the best part - they served us guacamole AND IT WAS INCLUDED WITH OUR MEAL SERVED IN A BIG CUP - NO CHARGE! The guacamole was phenomenal and very addicting to eat. The price of the appetizer was a little pricey, but everything else we devoured was worth it. We were both so full, the female cook actually came out and took a peak to see who were the gorditos ordering a ton of food for a family of four. 4/5 - it is our favorite mexican restaurant as of now near our home - go try it because you'll have to unbutton your pants right after eating at this hidden gem in Casco. read more
