This place is awful…read more The first time I went in was not ideal (wait time and no imaging ordered for an MVA) but the second time was unacceptable. The woman I saw, Alma Depizzo, was extremely rude AND misdiagnosed me. She asked me what was going on and when I tried to explain, she interrupted me in a snappy tone and told me to sit on a stool so she could look at my issue. While sitting, I tried to guide her to the spots that were issues and explain that some of the tender inflamed points didn't look red but if you palpated the area then you could tell there was inflammation and a bumpy texture. She cut me off several times and kept saying, "I don't see anything. Nothing is there." instead of listening to me. I then tried to explain the timeline and progression of my symptoms, only for her to interrupt me again -- once more insisting that there was nothing there. I was prescribed low grade antibiotics and sent on my way. None of this sat right with me. I had scheduled a backup appointment for Monday and would hit the ER beforehand if it went further south before then. I went to my normal provider on Monday. Come to find out -- IT IS SHINGLES! They said if I had waited any longer it could have been worse and I would have been at a higher risk for complications. And the issues I tried having her examine? The ones she said she couldn't see? Blisters that were forming and swollen lymph nodes. It took my doctor less than 5 minutes and actually listening to me to figure it out. Don't waste your time here as it seems like not even the providers want to be there and do their jobs. (Also, on top of all of this she wore the world's thinnest "mask" made out of some nearly see-through cloth with no seal on it.)

I had already provided a urine sample, but because it wasn't acceptable, I was told I needed to provide another one. What made me even more uncomfortable was being told that this time he would have to observe me while I did it. Throughout the appointment, the employee was wearing earphones and listening to music while speaking to me, which came across as very disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of treating me with respect, he gave me an ultimatum: either stay in the office until I could provide another urine sample or be disqualified from my job opportunity. I arrived around 11:30 a.m. and was told that if I left before providing another sample, I would lose the position, and that I could stay there until they closed at 6:00 p.m. Expecting someone to remain at a clinic for over six hours waiting to urinate is unreasonable, especially when they have other responsibilities. I had another job I needed to get to and simply could not stay all day. Rather than trying to work with me or explain my options professionally, I felt pressured, intimidated, and treated without any compassion or respect. I hope management addresses the behavior of this employee and improves the professionalism and respect shown to future patients. No one should leave a medical office feeling as uncomfortable and disrespected as I did.

My GP is Dr. Mejia, so I know that if I see the Urgent Care, my care is coordinated across the board, through the TMMC system. Whether its been an MD or a PA, every single time, my care has been exceptional and consistent, which I so appreciate. Now, my daughter goes to this same physician. They keep the place freezing but it's for the patients safety as well as the medical team to freeze any and all germs. They're quick and efficient even when there are alot of families that come in without appointments.
