This was my first time visiting this location due to an ear infection and I had low expectations from previous urgent care visits at other businesses but this one definitely exceeded expectations. I paid my co-pay, saw the doctor for less than 10 minutes and they have billed my insurance repeatedly, sending me continuous bills and lie about resolving the issue. I'm writing this review after a very disturbing text I received. I visited this establishment with an ear ache back in March. Since they didn't accept my insurance I opted to just pay out of pocket. I was charged $129 for my visit. A month later my mom, who has nothing to do with my healthcare received a bill for that same amount making it seem like she was responsible for the charge. I called the office and told them I had paid that amount and was confused that my mom received a bill. Mind you she's never even been there or heard of that place. The lady told me she would look into it and that she would call me in 20 minute. I never received a call. I figured ok they saw that I did pay. Every time you go into this place, you have to fully register. That means uploading your license, insurance card and filling out pages of your info. Yes, I am an existing patient and they still made me go through the whole registration process again. It's insane they do not save this info as this is done everywhere else. Although the wait time is relatively short, especially compared to Cedars, I am going to search for another urgent care. I went into Ladera urgent care on a Thursday morning. My negative experience began with the front office woman who told me my medical Id was inactive. After sitting in the lobby for almost 45 minutes - my medical provider confirmed my medical ID #. The woman then said she didn't know why my medical Id # showed as being active (there was no missing or wrong #'s) Odd! As sick as I was , this made me more irritated. I saw a nurse - practitioner who gave me antibiotics because it was evident I had some kind of virus/bacteria like strep. I received a notification from my pharmacy that my prescription had been updated and changed. I was alarmed. Called them to follow up, took them time to find my labs. I was diagnosed with something else which the front office informed me of. I asked for a doctor to call me. 5 hours later after stressing out I was called to be told why they took so long to call back - they've been busy... as understanding as I am -- No one should get a message from a pharmacy before their doctor calls them to inform them of their updated labs , diagnosis and how they will be treated. This place has been full of excuses since the day I walked in. Unfortunately this place is conveniently located to my home but I will not be returning and I do not recommend anyone else who is ill and wants their treatment to be efficient and clear communication. read more

I tried to bring my son in last night to be seen for a sprain in his ankle and was turned away because I did not have a physical medical card. I had ID and Social Security cards in hand. As someone who works in healthcare compliance as an investigator I KNOW all you have to do is look a member up by their social(which I had the physical card and identification to match). However I was cut short, and turned away. I didn't put up a fuss because it would've been pointless. I simply drove a few miles down sepulveda to another facility and was seen without any issue. As if having a limping child isn't a headache in itself. To be unnecessarily turned away added to the stress. read more

It's never fun needing to go to urgent care but when you do, this is the place I'd recommend. The front staff were lovely along with the doctor who listened and explained things. (something you don't often find in docs these days) CVS texted me while I was still in the office to let me know the doctor had sent in the medications. I came in Wednesday with the worst version of the flu I've ever had! The front staff was very patient with me as I had a headache that made it hard to look at my phone. You have to sign in via phone and upload your ID and health cards before being called in. Once I was called to the back one of the front desk team members took my vitals before a doctor came to see. My doctor was a woman who listened to everything I was expressing as far as what I was feeling of course. She ordered my prescription but not before she gave me medication in her office. The flu lasted a week but with everything prescribed it made the week a less painful and more tolerable week to get through. Thank you! read more

I found Ladera Urgent Care out during a terrible bout of vomiting for 4 hours. I believe it was food poisoning from a poke bowl I ate the night before. It was not crowded upon arrival so check-in was smooth. Jason got me to the back was quick and pleasant. Just like I like it. I want in and out, but he does take the time to heat out any concerns before the doc comes in. Dr. Hill has amazing bedside manner, and got my meds for nausea to the pharmacy immediately. It was ready in 15 minutes. I came again last week with my son because we though we had Covid, flu, or RSV. They ran the necessary swab and Jason got back to me the next day that it was just a bad cold. As much as I want to gate keep this gem, I cannot. I will return for urgent medical situations over the ER (unless ER is necessary). read more

This Urgent care facility is one of the best offices I have visited! It's clean they are quick and very efficient! They were not too crowded when we got there and called us back fairly quickly. Took two of my kids here for a persistent cough and Dr Brown got right to the bottom of it. My kids were at ease with his bedside manners and never got nervous (Usually doctors make them very skeptical). He even offered a strep swab to rule out the cause. It was way more in depth than anywhere else I have taken them. He also listened to my concerns thoroughly which makes me feel comfortable with trusting him with my kids heath. The front desk was pleasant and very informative when it came to cost and insurance. I will definitely have them on the top of my list for urgent care due to such a pleasant experience. If I could give zero stars I would. Called before coming in at 2:30pm and was told over the phone patients would be seen if arrived before 3:00pm. Arrived at 3:01pm, waited at the receptionist front desk for 20 minutes before someone showed up. Was then told by a male employee that last patient was seen at 2:30pm. I reiterated what was informed to me over the phone. He had me take a seat, & told me my ill mother and myself would be seen. Shortly after a female an employee came to the front, after calling my name told me I wouldn't be seen because my QR checkin was processed after 3:00pm. I made her aware that I was physically present before the app was even filled. & submitted only since no one was showing up for 20 mins!! She said she couldn't do anything and suggested I visit a local urgent care as their wait time was an hour. I asked if a minute or two really made and difference and she didn't respond. She knew she was in the wrong. If you really have an urgent need don't come here. read more

Took my 2 kiddos there on a Sunday (when most urgent cares are closed or close early) and I was grateful they were open.
