It is on a little bit of a busy street but follow your GPS brings you into this beautiful Little area with rose bushes along the side as you walk up to the second building where entrance is It is. I walked in & I had GOOSEBUMPS this place was so BEAUTIFUL!! I was in awe. I was greeted by two ladies I'm sorry I didn't get the second lady's name but I know McKenzie made the flower bouquet (pictured) that is just absolutely beautiful. I didn't expect that they'd have all kinds of gifts like hand creams, candles, gifts for any occasion, flowers in the showcase & plants that you can handpick and purchase. On every Friday they have five dollar bucket that McKenzie puts together when you walk right in the front door, This is a shout out to the Stetson students. They were so cute in a little bouquet wrapped that you could really make somebody's day for just five dollars!! If you are in this area please take ten minutes to stop in this place. Both women were so nice. Service was impeccable. The store was so clean and bright with windows everywhere. I could've probably spent an hour in there if I had the time. DO NOT SPEND A DIME WITH THIS COMPANY. EVER…read more It appears as though this company preys on out of town buyers who call in orders. The company is happy to process your credit card and then delivers low quality or poor quality product in hopes that the buyer never sees the end product. Worse yet, this company appears to maliciously falsify their physical address(es) in either Google or on their website(s) by not updating the information to their current address(es). THE DETAILS OF MY EXPERIENCE: I googled florists who were in the same zip code of the funeral home that was handling the arrangements for a relative. Initially I was happy with the way the florist's employee took my order by phone - they even offered to deliver at no charge since they were so close. I had not planned to attend the service but was SHOCKED to see what they are attempting to pass off for $80 when I arrived at the graveside service! Seriously you could purchase the same exact potted plant (size / quality) in Home Depot (in a better container too!) for $10 to $15 maximum. Following the service I called the florist to ask them to double check the receipt to ensure they had delivered the correct arrangement on my behalf. I was placed on hold for several minutes before anyone could speak to me and then I was disconnected immediately after I was finally transferred. Since I was so close to their published street address, I decided to drive to their store to see other comparable arrangements and speak to someone live in person. Imagine my surprise when I walked into 226 E NY Avenue in Deland, FL to find it occupied - and apparently has been for some time - by a Century 21 real estate agent! I called the florist back and when I mentioned that I'd just stopped in at the address on their website, she said I had the name of their company wrong. I thanked her, hung up and googled the new name she gave me. I drove to the second address only to be met with the same issue. In this case, there had clearly been a flower shop at the address in the past (as evidenced by the old FTD sign in the window) but the building appeared abandoned. Highly irritated, I called the company again and asked to speak to a manager. The woman assured me she would pass my contact information onto the owner and he would call me back personally and that has not happened to date. CONFESSION: I'm used to using YELP to check out restaurants but I'm definitely going to use it to check out more general businesses in the future!

Instead of calling me, this florist threw together their own "upgrades" with a different vase, no accent piece, and some different flowers (because they didn't have the right materials for the arrangement requested) and sent it out. I didn't want "upgrades" to different flowers when I had ordered that arrangement specifically for the flowers it was supposed to have AND the arrangement that did arrive looked mediocre at best. The manager was nice enough and sent out some extra flowers as a "sorry" but I will not be ordering from this florist again. Also, I will second the earlier reviewer's comment on the telephone number. The one on their website directs you to Orlando and the number for DeLand still has a mailbox that has not been set up. Very frustrating.
