I explained the situation, said I needed same day delivery, and that I just wanted it to be a medium sized, happy bouquet. It didn't have to have any specific flowers in it. (Which usually makes for a cheaper price because Florist's choice uses whatever they have available) The girl on the phone asked me to look at a specific bouquet on their website, and I said it was very pretty, but I didn't need that bouquet as I wanted to stay within my price point of $45. She said she understood, explained it would be an extra $15 for same day delivery. My mother received the flowers, and although beautiful, she said, "I hope you didn't A lot of money on this because it is very small and not much in it". She sent me the attached picture, and imagine my surprise when I saw that they charged me almost $90!! I called the florist the next day and I asked for the manager/owner to call me back. I had a nice conversation with Andy. She apologized for the absolute communication breakdown with her employee, and refunded $25. Normally a situation like this would get one star from me, But the way that the owner handled it, calmly while taking responsibility, warranted some respect. The flowers delivered were pretty, but certainly not $90 pretty. I would use this florist again, but I would make sure they understood exactly what I wanted and I would know the total price before we hung up.

I was looking for something very specific and they had a large variety of plants. It was about 95° out. I walked around and started looking to see what they had. Not one word from a single person that worked there. Not a hello, not a can I help you, nothing. I finally stood in line to ask the lady behind the counter a question and she answered my question and nothing else. I went over to get the flowers that I wanted; two flats of 15 annuals and a flat of nine. I'm elderly and it was 95° out. I had to get all of these flowers onto a cart and push them over to the checkout counter, where the lady was talking to some nice people from Virginia all about Florida foliage versus foliage up north. The lady at the checkout never looked at me once until the man she was talking to finally said I think the lady over there needs help. I probably won't go back here just because I think if you want someone's business and they're there spending money that maybe you should talk to them and be nice to them. It just makes good business sense. I just felt like I was on my own, which I was.
