And she did. Then, hurricane Helena passed by and I thought the delivery was going to be delayed. But thankfully, the stormed passed and the day of delivery was bright to receive the order right on time to celebrate the anniversary with my wife. She loved the flowers and plants. I placed an order today online for a dozen roses totaling nearly a $100. I call and Peggy answers the phone I ask if she knows around what time they might be delivered tomorrow she replies with I do not know. That is it and just hangs up the phone. Well you know what Peggy if I'm paying a $100 for a dozen roses I think I should get some better customer service then I don't know what time. Maybe you could have said do they need to be there by a certain time is there a time? I was pretty ticked off by this so I called Peggy back to let her know that their customer service lacks and she just argued with me instead of apologizing and taking ownership for her poor customer service. On February 26, 2022, I called The Flower Market (TFM) in Ormond Beach, FL to order the "Deluxe Gourmet Fruit Basket Gift Basket" advertised online for $65.00. Based on discussions with an assistant, I agreed to pay $75.00 for the addition of "more items" in the basket. Unfortunately, a pic of the $40 basket delivered was a disappointment--it did not resemble the advertised basket or any other fruit basket on TFM's website. An effort to resolve the matter amicably on February 28th proved fruitless!! The owner stated flippantly that she's "allowed to make a profit"...! My sister ordered me flowers for my birthday that cost $100 for she said she wanted an all white arrangement white lilies and white hydrangeas they said they couldn't do white hydrangeas that they just had purple hydrangeas so when I got the arrangement it had two purple hydrangeas five white lilies six purple tulips several cheap open little roses tea roses and a bunch of filler and a globe type vase flower rangement died after one day I called the florist to come pick up the arrangement they came and picked up the arrangement I told him just to deliver me loose Casablanca lilies white she said she would do that on Monday or Tuesday at the latest I got a call at 5:50 on Tuesday saying she couldn't deliver them till the following day she delivered me a very small bunch of small Casablanca white lilies she said there was 10 stems. I'm a lily connoisseur...I order white Casablanca lilies from Publix every single 12 to 14 days and I purchase six stems for $12. For my sisters hundred dollars she literally got barely $20 retail worth of lilies please see the pictures I am posting the small arrangement are the loose flowers I received from the florist and the other arrangement is $28 Worth of lilies from Publix without filler. I will never recommend these people is the manager has an attitude or I think she's the owner not very customer friendly I had to remind her that I'm the customer as she's yelling at me. read more

We had such an amazing experience today. We told them our budget and the florist made us a beautiful bunch of flowers! I wish we lived closer or else we would be in every week! It's not one of those huge "fancy" stores but a small cozy shop with a great selection of flowers and a whole lot of knowledge from everyone in the shop. I've been ordering flowers from FTD for Thanksgiving delivery for years. I've never been impressed or pleased. One year I even had to take a picture and send it to FTD to complain. Last year I ordered from another local florist instead of FTD and was underwhelmed for the price. This year I tried the Flower Market and couldn't have been more pleased. I gave them my price point and they knocked it out of the park. The flowers were beautiful and delivered in a timely fashion. This was my first time ordering from this florist and unfortunately it will also be the last. I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my mother for Mother's Day for $35. I specifically ordered a bouquet because I did not want the vase, as I knew I would get more flowers for the price without it. I worked in a flower shop for years, and just assumed the person taking my order would know the difference between a bouquet of flowers and a vase arrangement (assuming this was mistake number 1) and I gave her my colors or choice, saying yellow purple and pink, bright and cheerful but left the design up to the florist (mistake number 2). My mother received the flowers today and I was so embarrassed when she sent me the picture. First of all, it was in a vase (a hideous green one). Second of all there were barely any flowers used. There were about 4 yellow carnations, a ridiculous amount of baby's breath, some purple daisies and other cheap filler. Oh, and a GIANT pink and white bow that took up the entire arrangement. If I wanted to send my mother a bow I could have mailed her one myself. When I called to voice my concern the woman spoke to the manager and then told me that a bouquet does come in a vase, and that I did not specify wanting a "wrapped bouquet ". Really? Since when is a bouquet in a vase?! And when I told her there were barely any flowers used, and the ones they did use were the cheapest ones they could find, she just told me that she was sorry I wasn't happy. No attempt at rectifying the situation was made. If I owed this flower shop I would have been embarrassed to send this arrangement out for delivery , it's hideous. If this is their definition of "florist choice" then they need to find some new florists. And they need to learn the difference between a bouquet and vase arrangement. This is my first yelp review- I'm really not one to complain. the fact that she did not make a single attempt to make the customer happy prompted me to open an account and write this review.
