I met Anthony (Allied Flooring, Inc., Staten Isaland, NY) thru a large flooring supplier. I called him and he replied promptly. I had him come by to give me and estimate for my 2nd floor tenant apt. My tenant had just moved out and I wanted new flooring for my future tenant. Anthony quickly measured the 4 rooms and gave me the amount of square feet of flooring I would need, including underlayment. Unfortunately, the 4 rooms were covered by wall-to-wall carpeting and padding. Anthony readily agreed to remove this carpeting, which was a great relief. So I called my flooring supplier and told him the exactly numbers of the materials I would need. Once I got a delivery date, I called Anthony and we decided on a date for the installation. Not only did he arrive promptly at 8AM on that date, but he removed the carpeting and padding, bundled it all very neatly for sanitation, but he and his helper did all 4 rooms IN ONE DAY! Anthony is a bit of a perfectionist, which shows in how he finished the numerous closets, and his work was impeccable! When my friends and family stopped by to see the apartment, they were very impressed! My new tenant LOVED the APARTMENT and rented it immediately! This took place last summer. I was so pleased with his work, I had him do my apartment in early April this year. Not only does he do excellent work, but as a sign of a true professional, he left my place spotless! I must also mention that he saved me money by using Allied to receive a contractor's discount, and he even agreed to picked up the supplies at half the cost that the flooring company wanted to charge! ACS did a good job on my flooring project in my house. They check on us concerning importance of complete supplies and materials prior to start of the project.
