OK YELPERS I FINALLY ORDERED FOOD Like most of you sitting at home on the sofa right now reading, I've been cooking, and hiding indoors for weeks due to the corona virus. Chinese food has been the biggest thing I was missing. I've been craving fried rice and chicken wings so badly. For the past 2 weeks I've been looking for a Chinese place that was open and delivering. I finally found one today and I took the chance. Thank you Double Delight for being open!!! I never knew that finding a Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn would feel like I struck gold. When that superhero delivery man came I hardly got to see him and express my extreme gratitude due to the no contact delivery.... he has no idea that he made my day‍ My food was excellent. Anyone else out there looking for Chinese in Bensonhurst? Try Double Delight now.

We've been ordering from the place for years. Tonight was our last. Photo speaks a thousand words.

A photo speaks a thousand words. Absolutely disgusting. We won't be ordering from here again. Been ordering from this place for years. Disappointed to say the least.

I've been trying to find a solid chinese food take out spot... the 2 other chinese food restaurants I love are either closed or just too expensive for what I get so I decided to try something new. This restaurant is efficient, quick, and food comes nice and hot. Everything was correct and they read my order notes (I've had bad online ordering luck lately so this made me add an extra star). Solid food spot you get a lot of food for the price and it's edible! Since I have food for the next few days I'll prob throw in some msg for more flavor. Sweet and sour pork lunch: sweet and sour comes separate from the fried pork which was nice because the pork didn't come soggy. The sweet and sour sauce is standard I do wish it came with peppers, onions, and pineapple. Would've had better flavor. General tso chicken lunch: I've never had this dish before I always thought it came spicy so I never tried. I added in the notes to make it less spicy and didn't notice any spice at all. I thought I would like his dish more since it's in the majority of reviews but not bad... but not amazing. Thought the sauce would have more flavor. House special lo mein: This was actually my favorite dish I haven't had lo mein for a long time and this hit the spot. Good flavor.

    General Tso's Combination was great!

Not many places are open in the neighborhood currently (as of 5/6/20) due to the coronavirus but Double Delight came in clutch! Had been calling local Chinese spots for ~30 minutes and finally came across them. Their hours have changed recently due to the coronavirus pandemic (Closing at 9pm) and I called at ~8:55 and they stayed open for me to pick up. Very nice people who work there, food was great, and couldn't appreciate them more.

Great wonton soup, fried rice and chicken with broccoli. Classic take out food that hits the spot.

Pork should not be in vegetable menu (Szechwan Tofu). Pork item should be listed in pork menu.

The food was very fairly priced and the portions were huge. We got the pork soup dumplings, pork fried rice, szechuan chicken (which came with white rice), and pad see ew (which though not listed comes with pork, chicken, and shrimp). Everything was solid, but our favorite was the fried rice which had a ton of flavor. I liked the veggies that were in the chicken dish but there were just way too many of them compared to the chicken and I wasn't crazy about the sauce. The pad see ew wasn't made the traditional way I've had it with soy sauce and oyster sauce. It had some sort of orange sauce that tasted closer to a sweet and sour. It wasn't bad it was just not what I was hoping for. The soup dumplings were solid, no complaints there. And the fried rice was great, lots of flavor. Overall, I liked this place especially for the price but I'd probably order different things if I went back.

I found parking down the block and walked over to the restaurant. It seems like more of a delivery spot because there was no one inside sitting at any of the 5 tables. It's a fairly good size space, very simply decorated, mixed with a cool wall resembling a curio cabinet of treasures. I chose a spot in the middle and went to the restroom which was clean and simple. I noticed there were a lot of takeout orders, from delivery services to local folks picking up their regular dinner. I looked over the menu and decided on salt and pepper wings and an order of shrimp. Fried Rice came out first and it was delicious. I even tasted a hint of salted egg yolk mixed into the egg mixture friefried up with the rice that signature crispiness with the little saltiness.... fantastic. The salt and pepper wings were different than the ones i'm accustomed to though the flavor was amazing. It didn't have the fried garlic, peppers, chilis, and onions that i'm accustomed to being in the dish. They were still flavorful, juicy and crisp and I could tell they cooked them fresh. That was much appreciated. I ended up taking half of my food home because I was stuffed.Thank you Msm Ellen and the Crown Garden crew for a tasty solo dinner.

We were skeptical about this restaurant but it exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return! We came on a weekend for dinner so it was busy! We were able to snag a table and seeing how busy this place was, we knew it was going to be good! We had the pork XLB, chicken feet, pork & vegetable wontons with spicy peanut sauce, noodles with scallion and peanut butter sauce, beef lo mein and the beef ribs. Everything was delicious! The highlights of our meal were the pork XLB and the beef ribs. The pork XLB were made fresh to order and they were flavorful and juicy! Definitely on my list of best XLB I have ever had. The beef ribs were also delicious! They torched it table side which definitely added a nice touch! Considering how busy they were, the service was immaculate. They were also very attentive to details since we had a kid with allergies. We will definitely be coming back soon. This place is also right next to the Court Street train station which makes it very convenient to get to!
