There is a decent amount of seating inside and outside. I also found the service to be warm and friendly with my food coming out promptly as it was made on the spot. I was raised in Hickory all my life, but never really ventured out to enjoy the local food scene. I am trying to do that a little bit more whenever I come back. I got the Turkey, Bacon, & Avocado sandwich without mixed greens. It was a really messy but a pretty good and filling meal. There was a bit too much avocado, but I liked the aioli as it added some flavor to the sandwich. Each sandwich also comes with a bag of chips! Overall, I would be interested in coming back and trying their other sandwiches... only if I had an out of town friend visiting. I think that the sandwiches are overpriced ($14 for a simple deli meat sandwich?). It also pains me to see their version of banh mi being priced that high as some of the best banh mi from Vietnamese-owned shops cost half that price. P.S. I see that Yelp has this spot listed as closed, but as of February 2026, it is definitely open!

The hanging white light lanterns were charming but strange (in Asian culture they're hung for funerals). Only 2 beers on tap but a great selection of bottles/cans. Went for something different... Tucher Heffe Weizen! Didn't want another burger so went with something novel... the Gochujang Pork Belly sandwich. Gochujang is like a Korean food condiment, a combination fermented soybean and red chili pepper. Has some umami with a zing to it. Sadly, you could barely taste the gochujang, which really ended up being some chopped pork belly in a bun. The tater tots were great though, golden and crispy. Service was friendly. Will probably come back to try something different next time.

There were four brews on tap on the night we went. I did Homeplace's Biscuit and Gravy and Hubs had Kiss My Grits from a Boone brewery. Both were fun flavors. We ordered pork rinds and pimento for appetizers. Hubs ordered the Hot Marion with tots and I ordered the veggie on sourdough with fries. When the pork rinds arrived I was shocked at the size! It's plenty of food!! The pork rinds are crispy and flavorful. Given the amount of pork rinds we snacked on both of us ate half our sandwiches. It's so much food! The Hot Marion is very mild but tasty. The veggie sandwich had fresh veggies and was quite refreshing. The goat cheese complemented the sandwich well. Great service and great food. Definitely stop in! There is street parking and a public lot nearby.

The Philly steak wonton appetizer - incredible. The burger was one of the best that I've had in a long time. The bun was so soft and fresh, the patty itself was seasoned and cooked to perfection, and of course with fresh mozzarella, basil, and balsamic vinegar, you can never go wrong. We will 100% be back whenever we're in the area!! The menu is huge, there are so many things I'd love to try!

So no glass was poured by server for a satisfactory nod. When he walked away we poured ourselves a bit and then tasted. It tasted like pure vinegar. I received no cooperation when speaking about the situation, only a "I just work here, and I doubt the owner will do anything for you." I brought over half a bottle home just so my husband could confirm the nastiness of it, which he did. My suspicion is that the wine I ordered was replaced by some horrible low cost wine that had gone bad. Will not repeat this mistake. Just stick with the water. Also, meat was cooked medium well, not medium and my co-diner had to ask for the black bean patty she ordered because it was missing from her sandwich.

I'm a Midwesterner and this vinegar que isn't up to par with with our sweet smokey taste buds. Not to mention we do brisket and not pulled pork. We'll I got a Brisket Sammich and Mac. The ladies suggested I try the Strawberry or Honey Peach sauce. The WHAT???? In all of my years i have never! I rolled my eyes and went to play on my phone. Then I was called. The Sammich was piled high with 4 slices of brisket. Not chopped, no picked apart, no skimpy but thick, hang over the edge moist, seasoned brisket. I took a nibble a said "ohhhh". I like it. That made me grab some sauce. I mean absolutely tiny bit on the side just to see. I tasted the Strawberry and was elated. Its freakn delicious. The strawberry plays so well with the heat and a hint of sweet. The peach was freakn fire. I had to come back and grab 2 Oz of each. I thought it couldn't get any better till I bit into the Mac. It was creamy, seasoned, and cheese; not over cooked either. Baby I knew I was driving to Fort Mill to get me a plate. I'll be down y'all
