What I did see I thought some things were priced well and some were overpriced but that is the way it is when you have booths as everyone prices their items differently. National Road Antique Mall is one of 17 antique shops in the town. The mall is filled with two stories of antique booths that carry primitive antiques and vintage Americana. Many booths were offering sale prices. I was greeted when I walked in by friendly staff. The mall is clean with mostly wide aisles. There is a restroom centrally located on the first floor. There as plenty of free street parking today, but probably at a premium when summer rolls around.

Some of the prices I found to be a little high in here but overall pretty nice little shop. They had a lot of varied items and I still found a couple of things I purchased. They had a clothing items, antiques, vintage items, and assorted other things. The clothes they had were both children and adults. On this day their credit card machine was down so I ended up having to run out to my vehicle to get my checkbook but it was all good after that. The lady at the counter was really nice and one of the items I bought was glass and she wrapped it nicely so it didn't break. I will probably venture back in here to see what they have another time.

Two stories of antique artwork, home goods, clothing, decor, housed in a historic building. What's not to like? Don't come with anyone who "hates shopping " as you will want to stay a long time. Something around every corner. Thoughtfully organized into various rooms, nooks and hallways. The kind proprietress told me they are actually called Yesterday's Antiques at the Vinton House- but they answer to both! There was a sweet little section of very old books which was one of my objectives and I came away with two history textbooks to read, preserve, and pass on to future generations. I was hoping for some records too, but no vinyl here, although they had a mess of DVDs. On some things you can get a discount for paying cash- ask. Not sure when but I will certainly be back. and recommend you check this place out.

Hole in the Wall is one of my favorite antique shops: great prices, lots to choose from (although…read moreit's a bit crowded) and fantastically friendly ladies running the place. They're helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy or know-it-all. I don't think I've ever left without buying at least one or two things. I don't know why Centerville gets all the antique accolades - Cambridge City is really the goldmine as far as I'm concerned.

This is one of the worst antique stores I have ever been to. Don't waste your time. The owner (…read morewho lives in the back of the building ) sat in the doorway and she makes you walk around her. Once you get in, it's a disaster. The "merchandise" is laying all over the place. Tons of old medicine bottles and boxes. If it falls off of the shelf, it remains on the floor. The building is unsafe. Should be condemned! The structure is unsafe and walls are crumbling. Weeds are growing through the wall where the plaster is falling. The town Post Office is connected to the building next door, probably the only reason why it hasn't been torn down. Upstairs, the ceiling is falling through.... There is a sign saying it's ok to dig through the boxes!! I was scared that a rat would surprise me! Dirty, stinky, trashy.... don't waist your time or your safety!

Old Storefront Antiques is one the most interesting and unusual antique stores I've ever been to,…read moreand I've been to hundreds. Their specialty is items that you would find in a drug store like over the counter beauty and medical treatments, and other pharmaceutical and personal care items. The proprietor said that the shop provides props for movie and television productions, and honestly, the shop itself looks like a movie set. So many items there that you never see anywhere, and they've got tons of each item stacked floor to ceiling in room after room. My daughter and I both made purchases: she got a box full of old makeup items (e.g. Don Juan lipsticks & some very early rare Max Factor items, etc.), one of the things she collects, and I found some vintage IHOP restaurantware in great condition. The prices were very fair. The shop itself is a bit cluttered but worth navigating. After sort of having my mind blown after seeing all the stuff they had (I don't know how else to describe it lol--it's an experience) I did some googling and learned that the proprietor wrote a book on drug store collectibles that I found on ebay. If this is the sort of collecting genre that interests you, or if you just want to go someplace different than you've ever been before, you should check them out.
