I have a thing for costume jewelry and they have a lot of it. They have clothes, coats, jackets, shoes, a few books, jewelry, and odds and ends. At $2 I have not found any good designer high end pieces but it is fun just to look and see what you discover. She was excited to tell me more when I asked at checked out too. I was the only customer in the store during my visit and I appreciate that she didn't stalk me or bother me while I was shopping. The store was originally located in Beech Grove for 8 years, but the owner is from Morristown and hated driving so far, so she eventually relocated it closer to her. I'm giving 3 stars because it's one of the most disorganized thrift stores I've been in. There is next to no organization. The racks are labeled with sizes, but I always found lots of other sizes mixed in. And clothing is not separated by category. There's 3-4 racks of each size spread all throughout the store and each rack has anything from swimsuits to dresses to jackets on it. When I was greeted, she said "it's a treasure hunt". It was definitely a hunt trying to sort through the mess. The lighting is dim, there were at least two larger rooms not being used for merchandise and a large section in the middle of the main room closed off housing misc appliances. They have one fitting room that is literally a closet with a mirror. I think they would do a lot better if they organized the items better. Most people don't like digging through stuff...even for $2 items. She also said they take donations, but they've only had 5 since being at this location. This was a Tuesday so some of the shops were closed on Monday and Tuesday so I will have to make another trip into town to see the rest of them. The shop had a lot of primitives in it. The shop also had light fixtures that were made by someone out of old farm machinery that I thought were really cool. So if you are looking for something out of the ordinary for your decor this may be a good place to stop.

They have rubber stamps, scrapbooking papers, dies for die cutting machines, and miscellaneous craft supplies like acrylic paint. So it is worth a visit and the other booths have many different items like home decor, antiques, vintage items, and who knows what else depending on the vendor. Prices are in line with other flea markets in the area. The cashiers are always friendly and I have not ever had any issues with anybody that worked there. I will continue to stop in and see what they have!

After a quick jaunt in the antique stores of Lewisville, by the time we got to Cambridge City, my suspicions had been confirmed: Sunday is "Bring Your Drink to Work Day" in small-town Indiana. Doublehead Trading Company has EVERYTHING. The owner is the type of guy who has three of everything and the shop looks like chaos, but if you ask for something specific, he walks to the back corner of some random area and pulls out exactly what you're looking for. Oh, and he was drinking tequila when we walked in, and he offered some to me in a glass that was "almost clean." A fun and quirky space with an equally entertaining owner. Nice little shop. You enter on the side of the log cabin looking building. On this day shopping I was not really looking it for anything in particular. However I did find some old magazines in this shop, I love to use old magazines in my art. I purchased four of these magazines for $3 each and they were all from the late sixties early seventies. Next time I am in Cambridge City I will stop in here again and see what they have new in their shop.
