It's sadly amusing that they have a billboard you can see from I-70 touting the 20+ stores. I even feel bad for the seniors walking the mall. It's so small that older people can walk the whole mall in 20 minutes. (I'd been a regular in malls with 250+ stores.) The only reason I go there is Carlos' Pizza and OfficeMax. Update: Sears has closed and J C Penney isn't that busy, ever. American Eagle and Aeropostale probably get the most business, even in such a poor town. Carlos' Pizza seems to be closed, along with the coffee place.

There are a decent amount of good stores (American Eagle, Soma, Victoria Secret, Sephora, Kendra Scott, Bath & Body Works, Books & Co.) and some okay restaurants (Panera, Chipotle, Cheesecake Factory, The Pub, Coronado Taco), but there is a lot of empty restaurants as well as random stores. The two main nicest restaurants are now gone so you are only left with one higher end steak house. They definitely need to figure out how to revitalize the area. Parking is ample.

When you walk in, the employees will often let you know about any extra sales or promotions happening that day, which can make the deals even better. We come here frequently, especially for the Nike store since my kids love shopping there. I was looking for stuff for my vacation, but didn't find anything in the Nike store. Over the years, I've noticed that some stores have come and gone, and it's always nice to see new additions. One of the newest and most popular stores is Lululemon. If you're planning a trip, it's worth checking the outlet's website beforehand for a complete list of stores so you can plan your shopping route. Just FYI, the Saks Fifth Avenue store is closed but they have enough stores there if you want some nice designer stuff . A lot of the newer stores are well-organized and easy to navigate, whereas the old stores were difficult and chaotic. (I can't think of a location that would be terrible in New Paris but I still remember the smell of some chicken place that burnt to the ground just north of here but the smell is thankfully gone after all these years.) In small towns like New Paris where there is no grocery store, Dollar General wins. They have a big chain with loads of distribution capacity, so that they can offer good prices in contrast to the mom and pop grocery stores that have to charge more to sell you anything. I found this one to be a good store and the clerk was friendly. The $5.00 off coupon introducing the store was mighty helpful. If the many other locations are any indication, this New Paris location should be active for many years.
