This location is really nice! I have had really excellent service and stays. I have had about 2 weeks of stays here overall. The front desk has always been helpful and courteous. The check in process has always been very easy The hotel is clean and spacious. They have an onsite restaurant that serves a decent breakfast buffet. They have a nice sized fitness center and a small indoor pool. Outside there is a small hot tub. It is also right across the street from a little green space park. It's easy to walk to several restaurants from here too. The rooms are comfortable and so are the beds. Reasonably priced for what you get. Highly recommended. read more

I would highly recommend this place. While I wish the room had a couch to sit on the room was plenty big and nicely accommodating. Great views of the valley and distant mountains as well made for a great place to do work from. Location was very central and while there was some homeless activity the grounds and surroundings were great. Staff here was 5 star all the way! Super friendly on every occasion. I needed to extend my check out and that was met with a no problem and glad you stayed with us. I would for sure come back another time. read more

I gave them my credit card for incidentals. Instead, they charged the card of the person who made the reservation. I was sent a form to fill out. It has multiple issues so I can't use it. I would like to fix this, so I have called multiple times and left messages on their Facebook page. All phone calls go straight to a call center instead of the front desk. No one replies to their FB messages. read more

Beware, I stayed at this Hotel on July 4th on the 3rd level and received at least 40 bedbug bites on my back, rear and side. Hilton Honors customer service was useless. The Hotel itself ignores my complaints. I guess they simply do not care. At least give an apology. I have previously stayed here before and had really a decent experience. So this review is all relevant. The other hotels in the area make this look like a five star!! Don't stay at the clarion!!! But anywhere else this place is a 3. It was clean!! And most of the people there were polite. And I guess you could say it was close to downtown Greeley. After that, not much good to say. Don't eat at meekers, service and food were poor. But who knows they have improved? at three in the am I couldn't sleep and wanted coffee and the front desk said they don't make it till 5.... How about would you like me to make some? The place smelled horrible because of the Greeley cows.... Maybe some incense or candles??? We first walk in and nothing.... But at least a few hellos later on. Service is either good or not. Clean 5 Service 2 Location... great if you want to be downtown Greeley. Horrible if you want to be in Hawaii. Oh and lots of cows. For decor. As if you didn't get enough from outside. After staying three nights here, I can't say enough about this hotel. The location (on the edge of Downtown Greeley) is perfect, within walking distance of several restaurants and directly across the street from a lovely park. The front desk staff is wonderful, very kind and considerate, especially Garrison who always greeted me with a big smile & got me some extra coffee packets and cups for my room. And those warm chocolate chip cookies are addictive!! My room was quiet, very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping service is by request, which is fine with me. I'd definitely stay here again if business ever brings me back to Greeley! read more

What a beautiful hotel. They just opened about a month ago, and we were pretty excited to stay here. Located right by the city buildings, and right off of 85 and 34, this is a great location. There is an area for purchasing snacks as well. Actually, a pantry. Much nicer than vending machines. Spacious parking lot, large lobby and nicely decorated in a ranch theme. Loved it. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was very spacious. I think that it was actually a handicap assessable room. Large open area, the bathroom was wide open as well. I loved the barn door for the bathroom, that was a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable, and the linens were quality. There was a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and a large desk. They also supply a hair dryer as well as an iron/ironing board. Will definitely stay here when in town again. Top notch. read more

Tough review to write because honestly, it's probably the best place to stay in Greeley. However, that doesn't mean it's a great place. There were many things that could be better but weren't, and they are usually little easy things. We have been here 3-4 times because it's the "nicest" place to stay when rolling through town, but thankfully, our kids just moved away from there, and we don't have to go back. When we walk in, they often don't greet us. This time, it wasn't until a full minute after we greeted them and were standing in front of them that they acknowledged us, and then it was fairly rudely. 1. They didn't have the coffee out at 3am when my husband went down and asked for it, telling the woman that we'd be leaving at 4am, but instead she said that she only makes it at 5am. How east it would have been to just say that she'd be happy to make it an hour earlier?? 2. The towels were crusty and kinda like sandpaper. 3. The pillows look fluffy and comfortable but deflated to thin pancakes and were anything but comfortable. 4. The air conditioning system wouldn't stay set to the temp we wanted, always reverting to some preset temp designed to save energy. 5. The air freshener was so strong you could taste it, and then you smelled of it when you left the building. 6. The restaurant in the hotel, Meekers, received its own review one of the other times we were here, and we refused to go in there again. 7. There are too many screaming kids at the pool, but then also in the hot tub. Okay, there is a gym, and that was good, and the decor is pretty nice, but mostly, it's really sad cow paintings, and that, combined with the overwhelming smell of putréfaction coming from the rotting cow maneure outside, makes less of a positive impact, but it does explain the overpowering air freshener... This place is better than the clarion down the street, but not by much even though you might find a dead body in the clarion. It is still just barely meeting the standards of this chain, but if you have to stay in Greeley, this might be a place for you, but I'd look at cool bed'n'breakfast places before settling on this place. The worst experience I have had at a hotel. The front desk manager is incredible rude. I have service animals as she refuse to accept them and insisted in a pet charge. I would have probably paid it but was very loud and rude and was talking about my situation loud enough for the entire building or hear. this woman should be working in construction not customer service. We checked in for a 5 night stay in June. Due to flight delays we arrived at 3:30 am. Our phone key did not work but we were given a key at the front desk. The room was comfortable and had a nice view. Upon waking I showered and noticed we only had 2 towels. When we left I ran into housekeeping and asked for more towels and they were in our room that afternoon. Maid service was on request with 24 hour notice. We opted to skip maid service all together. BIG mistake! The the first time we needed extra toilet paper I had to ask 3 times. The second time I asked for TP and more shampoo I had to ask twice and never got the shampoo. The front desk clerk was quite busy playing games on her phone. The restaurant Meakers wasn't bad, nothing special except for the outdoor patio which was nice. We will stay at the Doubletree again. It's a perfect location near out son's home. I will most certainly get msid service at least every other day. I will review again after our next stay. read more

Superstar Hotel! Very Clean! The beds were fantastic. I had a great nights sleep. This place was packed out the night we stayed but you'd never know it because it was so quiet. You can tell that this hotel is pretty new. The room was spacious and had a welcoming feel. The bathroom was a little small for our family of five that stayed in the room that night but we made due. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We didn't utilize the amenities but the pool/hot tub looked amazing. There was also a great looking and very busy restaurant in the hotel. Maybe we'll try it the next time we stay there. I will certainly be back! read more

This is a great place to stay and a happy find in downtown Greeley. The space is fantastic and clean. They have their own dedicated parking lot. Parking is included in your stay. I was expecting an extra fee and was delighted with this perk. There was a water main break, so high powered fans were running on our floor, but inside our room it was calm, quiet and peaceful. The rooms look like they could be Westin rooms, they are so puuurty. The check in was easy and the staff was customer oriented. It was refreshing and we'll stay again the next time we are up that way. read more

I stayed here recently and really enjoyed the hotel. It is clean and new. I found it to be very comfortable. The location is very good. It is walking distance to several restaurants. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. I thought the rate was very reasonable. There were a few small things that kept me from giving it 4 stars with the first being that the television in my room would not turn on. I am sure they would have fixed it, but I did not want to have someone come to my room at 10 pm when I simply wanted to watch a little tv before going to bed. I will definitely stay here again. If everything goes smoothly with my next visit, I will update my review. read more

My son and I had a great stay at this hotel during his hockey weekend in Greeley. Located downtown Greeley and within walking distance to the ice rink, restaurants and shops. So close to the rink that I joked that the kid could actually walk and carry his goalie gear to the rink so I could get a longer nap. He appreciated my humor but said no. Plenty of parking and very friendly staff. The lobby is modern and creates a welcoming environment. Rooms are new and beds are soft. Added plus, different than my last hotel stay a two weeks prior, the cleaning staff doesn't knock on your door at 9 am to make up your room. The cleaning staff actually let me sleep in! If or when we have to travel to Greeley again we will defiantly stay at the Doubletree. read more

We stayed at the DoubleTree Greeley hotel for a weekend getaway while visiting family that attend UNC! What a beautiful hotel! We were able to quickly check-in, get settled, and started enjoying our stay. I am assuming the hotel is newly built as everything looked brand new, updated, and very modern. We loved the location of the hotel as it sits in front of a beautiful park and is within walking distance of Greeley's downtown area where we had access to tons of food options. It's also only about 6 mins from UNC which was great for us! The hotel also has a great indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi/fire pit area that was so nice to relax in! A few tips I would give for those staying here...if you are planning to eat at the restaurant hotel, I would recommend making reservations as it gets very busy! Prices are reasonable which is probably why it stays packed, but you'll be waiting a while with no reservations. I will say I wasn't super overly impressed with the hotel's market options (snacks, sodas, etc.) We wanted to buy a coke one night and they didn't have any soda for sale at all and very limited snack options. Other than that, we had a fantastic stay and would plan on coming back! Also, beautiful space to have an event as they have tons of event space. read more

Yes!!! Great hotel. New nice and clean. We travel all the time so there are a few things I look for in a hotel. Cleanliness, friendliness, food, bath tubs ( because my little guy likes to bathe in a tub), bed comfort, noise and lastly if the room is dark at night and no hallway lights or outdoor lights blasting me in the face! This hotel gets 5 stars for all of the above. I ordered food from the restaurant, they added an extra surprise for my son because they heard him in the background. The food was surprisingly good! We are clean eaters so we've learned to pack most of our food for travel but the restaurant was great. Salad and Brussel sprouts. I will 100% stay here again. read more

The rooms are very nice so no complaints there. The night shift employee sucks! We got a room that had a fold out bed from the couch but there were no linens. No problem. We called down to the front desk and asked for items to allow a person to sleep on the foldout. The employee came to our room and provided a pillow and a clear package which looked like a full set. We thanked her and she left. When making the bed, there was a pillow (hotel type which is small and kind of flimsy) a wrap for the mattress and a sheet. When we noted this, we tried calling the front desk again......and again......and again with no answer. We tried calling housekeeping....no answer. So I went downstairs to the front desk and no one was there. I heard people talking around the corner where you can purchase snack. Low and behold,; two employees were there and I think the male was off duty. The female was not. She came around and asked what I needed. I told her we were missing a blanket and would like another pillow. She advised that she gave us a pillow and a blanket and was unsure if they had another blanket. A hotel unsure if they have a blanket. I told we didn't need another blanket rather A BLANKET. She, in a snippy way, said, "I gabe her a blanket". I said no, you gave us a bed mat and a sheet. Luckily for me the off-duty guy was there and the staff member asked if they had any blankets. He said of course we do and said he would bring up a blanket. The rest of the night went without incident. This morning, we walked out of the elevator and another customer asked if we knew whether or not she had to check in online or not. We told we spoke to an actual person when we checked in the day before but she expressed she had been waiting for about ten minutes. When we walked outside to our vehicle, we noted two employees, one working and the other on her cig break. I laughed and told my wife I think I know where the front staff is located. Anyway, that has been our experience so far. We will see what today brings. read more

Clean and quiet. Very nice hotel. Maranda greeted us at the front desk when we checked in. She was very polite and professional. The restaurant (Meeker's) was nice and reasonably priced. Also, we enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Anytime we travel we try to stay at a Hilton or a Hyatt hotel. The last few times we stayed at a Hyatt we were very disappointed. The staff was unprofessional and we had issues with cleanliness. We have never had issues with these things at a Hilton. Their level of professionalism is always the same no matter which location you are at. Whenever possible we we will always stay at a Hilton hotel from now on. read more

My family and I stayed here a couple of times this last week due to a huge plumbing overhaul at our house and this being the closet hotel. The first night I booked my reservation via Hotels.com. There was an issue with the reservation showing up on the hotel end. It happens sometimes with Hotels.com This is the first time I've ever had to call and sort it out. Every other time, the desk agent has handled it after me showing them my confirmation emails and the credit card charge. The condescending attitude of the desk agent, Thomas, was completely unnecessary and rude. The next morning, upon asking about the breakfast that I paid for, I was told by a different desk agent that he would "allow it this time" as if I had done something wrong or was trying to scam them in some way. We booked a second night a few days later. My son and husband had checked in around 5pm. I arrived around 11:30pm after work. The front door was locked and set for room key entry. Totally normal. What wasn't normal was the treatment that I again received from Thomas. After letting him know what room I was in and giving my name, he made me stand there while he had a trainee call our room to verify with my husband that I could be let in. WTF? Not only was it humiliating, but in calling the room, he woke up my kid who didn't fall back to sleep for another hour or so. I have traveled all over the country and stayed in multiple Doubletree hotels, never have I had this kind oexperience. Onto the actual room review. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable with huge lumps in the middle of the bed that made our heads point downwards all night. The sheets were so starched and scratchy that it was difficult to get comfortable. One of the beds on the second night had crumbs in the sheets. Both showers were repeatedly half assed cleaned to the point that there was pink moldy gunk in all of the corners and by the shower doors, there were popcorn crumbs on the floor of the room the second night.....we didn't have popcorn. On top of a bad night sleep, housekeeping started knocking on the door at 8am. (there wasn't a do not disturb sign provided) Not sure why they were in such a hurry to do a bad job of cleaning the room. Neither visit were any of us offered a "warm chocolate chip cookie". This was just an overall bad experience both times. Not sure I understand the snobby attitude from the staff. Thanks, but no thanks, we'll be taking our business elsewhere while we finish our renovations. read more

I stayed for a night. Everything is brand new. Bed is incredibly comfy and the staff is friendly, professional and helpful. Their meeting spaces are phenomenal. Large facilities. Ability to adjust to the size of the setting space needed and their staff again was awesome. We had a fast turn around between two different events and they knocked it out of the park. We stayed here for State 1A basketball and had an amazing experience. I knew I would love it, when they also had gluten-free cookies at check in. The beds were great (I am a bed critic) and the fan had the option of running 24/7. YES!!!! No white noise machine needed! Let's see. What else. I have stayed here several times (kid at UNC), and love it. Last stay, I booked through Hotels.com. I had to change my stay to add an extra night. Got a new confirmation number thru Hotels.com. Thought all was well. When checking in, the front desk informed me they had no record of my additional night, and were unfortunately booked! Instead of leaving me "homeless" Shannon went above and beyond finding us a place in Loveland. She also gave the Loveland hotel a voucher so I wouldn't have to pay for the stay. Incredible. Needless to say, I will NEVER use Hotels.com again. But I will ALWAYS stay here while in Greeley. Thanks everyone! read more

I love the location and the area however I'm very disappointed with the gentleman who was bringing in the restock for the hotel market. I was waiting in line (being patient and calm) and he came in asking me if my car was parked in front of the hotel. I replied yes and he kept claiming that it was a fire hazard and that location was an emergency exit. I let him proceed to "scold" and I replied with "I'm just trying to get checked in." He said, "yeah I know but still. Oh and she is in training so give her some time." Talk about not being able to read your surroundings. He awkwardly stuck around and didn't check me in but rather proceeded to make small talk to which I was not in the mood for as I was just scolded for parking where there isn't a sign NOT TO PARK. As I was short with him he got the hint and left to restock the hotel market. The customer being checked in at time turned around to me and said "How rude" I laughed it off. I'm stubborn and I know what good customer service is I've been in the industry for years and now I inspect it. Too bad I'm not auditing this location. This hotel is a poor standard and very bad attitude of the employees if I could give less than 0 I will give. I arrive to the hotel around 11 to 12 Evening time and I already had a reservation in this hotel and of course I live in notice that I coming with a service dog. They hotel representative Ask me to leave the hotel or she called to the security because he doesn't want to pay second time on my room in the end I do paid second time on the same room and she let me to enter with the dog. They after they agreed that they have a mistake and they cancel one of the reservations!!! In the morning when I go to the restaurant to eat my breakfast as a paid all the employees ask me about papers of my dog and they asked me to leave some old lady with bad attitude bad energy ask me nonstop to present her the papers with my dog so I go to the management and I told him that and I asked them to file complaint they ignored me. I go back to my room bring the papers and present the papers and the time they present the papers the breakfast I am already was done so they not let me to sit in the restaurant with my dog doesn't if it's a service dog this hotel doesn't I kept dogs they treat bad they have really really terrible attitude. My dog goes we need to everywhere my dogs play with me everywhere and this is the first hotel ever did but I mean nonstop about my dog and don't let me to eat if anyone coming to this hotel please please make sure to bring food to your room because they not let you to enter to the restaurants they not accept service dogs in the Hotel and of course not at the restaurant.
