    King Bed - River View

This hotel is fun. The events center is attached so it's easy to walk from the room to the concert. Free parking in the garage across the street.

Stayed here during my recent work trip and the hotel is rather nice for the small quaint city of location. We were greeted promptly upon check in. The hotel is clean and does have a restaurant, bar and Starbucks. They offer you a warm cookie upon checking in and I highly recommend taking it. It's so worth it!! Thank me later haha. My only complaint is that despite the hotel being Hilton, there are no refrigerators in the room -- to get one you have to request it and pay $10! What!? All other Hilton locations I've been to before have had refrigerators so was surprised with this one. The staff was super friendly and they even had umbrellas that we could borrow to make it to the River Watch restaurant down the hill when it was raining.

I am a Hilton Gold member and travel extensively always booking Hilton properties. This is the poorest service Hotel of all of the Hilton's I have stayed at. I COULD SIGHT SEVERAL PROBLEMS BUT IT IS ALL ABOUT THEIR MANAGEMENT AND PEOPLE. Please see my photo below. This is just an example. This card is in your room and at the front desk, but there is NO way to leave your feedback. No form to write on or box to put suggestions in etc. With my problems, the people blamed each other for not giving me service and they took NO responsibility. Terra was the manager on duty and she could not manage my complaints. She just want to give me some free things to compensate for their errors rather than addressing the issues. The people here need to be customer oriented and own problems to service their customers like the other Hilton's I have stayed at. More than one Hilton seem to recognize me when I check in and do everything they can to make my stay a great experience. Even in properties that are a little run down, the staff have made the difference in my stay! I would recommend you choose another Hilton property in the area. The Doubletree at the Airport is fantastic.

A very good hotel. Clean, well designed and the rooms are very nice. I used the gym and it had some great free weights (thank you Jesus!), and typical treadmills and other standard gym equipment. My only gripe would be the "entertainment" that performed a few floors down at the bar on the outside patio. They played well into the evening and we had a very early wake up time (5-6am) and not being able to drown out their noise was a bit of a bummer. Parking is free and across the street in the garage. It was nice to have our car nearby and not have to deal with meters, valets, and all that. Other than the late night entertainment, I would happily stay there again for sure. The location is nice and the front desk workers were friendly as well.

I was jumping with excitement and Oohing in wonder at the newness and modern feel when this hotel opened a couple of months ago, but after two visits may not be back... Doubletree is not run as Hilton property should be. The staff is exceedingly nice, but the management has not set the right processes in place. On the first visit we used the room service order card... Only to find it still on our door in the morning. 45 minutes of ordering, apologies and general confusion later we got our order. We are on a ski schedule, timing in the morning costs you hours on the slopes. The next morning we lingered in bed with anticipation and a general thought at the back of our minds : "Surely, after messing it up once, the room service will be on it!" Well, while we were lingering in bed, the card was lingering on our door... Over an hour of ordering and waiting and dealing with hungry cranky kids, the effect of sleeping in a comfy new beds evaporated... Visit two - we show up at 7:30 pm excited to change quickly and catch some late night skiing at the Perfect North. Well, at 7:30 the room is still dirty and not ready! Explanation - a large event. But this is what this hotel and conference center were built for! Again, staff deals with these in a very friendly and apologetic manner. It is the management and Hilton brand management who should jump on this quickly, before excited customers turn into grumpy ones taking other alternatives.

Whatever has happened to customer service. Since the Pandemic the customer is NOT always right and the Pandemic is still being used as an excuse for poor customer service where we have to beg to be believed even when it is obvious that there is something wrong. I have zero faith that customers will ever come first again. I give the front desk a 5 star rating, efficient and friendly. And she asked if I wanted close to the elevator and I said NO. So I was way down the hallway and it was quiet. I needed quiet. I give housekeeping a 3. Whatever. Little dusty, towels hung haphazardly. You know the drill. But room was fine. Believe me ... I've stayed in worse. Love the coffee in the elevator (cause I'm not across from it hearing the walkie talkie while they sit it up.) I threw a sweater over my pj's and wore house shoes. Only one other person there at the time and he was in house shoes as well. We ignored each other. I would prefer a coffee pot in the room, but at least you don't have to go to the lobby to get it anymore. So kudos for that. Here's my rant. WTF is wrong with people? I woke up at 5 am to a toddler running up and down the hall with sounds of glee. All I can imagine is that Mom or Dad was trying to let the other get more sleep. At the expense of everyone else on the floor. And WHO brings children to a casino? Only a nursing mother. Otherwise it's just unacceptable. There's my rant. But not hotels fault. But free rooms. And free breakfast. Who could ask for more than that? This morning I'm back to dust and nail guns. I will be so happy when this is over.

DISGUSTED BY HOW HOLLYWOOD CASINO HANDLED THE THEFT OF MY PHONE…read more I visited Hollywood Casino for what was supposed to be a special planned outing with my mother (from a nursing facility) and a couple family members. Instead the night ended with my phone being stolen and an experience that has left me completely disgusted with the casino. I knew the exact machine where my phone had been when it was taken. We immediately tried calling it, but it had already been turned off. Having visited many casinos, I am well aware of the extensive surveillance systems they use and how closely activity on the casino floor can be monitored. Yet, despite knowing the specific machine and the narrow timeframe, I was never offered meaningful assistance in reviewing footage to determine what happened. What makes this even more disturbing is that several employees (that I reported it to) told me thefts like this reportedly happened numerous times during their employment there. If this is true, why is more not being done to protect guests and respond seriously when theft is reported? The next day, I did what the casino apparently was not concerned about doing--I tracked my phone myself using the FindMy App. The phone had been sold to an ecoATM located in front of a Kroger. Identification is required to sell the phone through the machine, as well as powering the phone on (which is how the location updated). This helped authorities identify an individual, and criminal charges have been filed. THEN came the most disturbing discovery of all: the individual identified in connection with my stolen phone had worked at Hollywood Casino. I cannot state why the casino failed to provide more assistance or whether the person's employment there had anything to do with how my report was handled. But from my perspective, learning of that connection after receiving so little help raises serious and troubling questions. Publicly available information also showed that the individual had an extensive arrest history. An arrest history does not, by itself, prove guilt in any particular matter, but it certainly added to my concern after learning of the person's connection to the casino. What kind of standards does Hollywood Casino have for the people it employs, and what responsibility does it take for the safety and security of the guests who spend their money there? Casinos have cameras throughout their properties. They have security personnel. They have the ability to investigate incidents on their premises. Yet when my property was stolen and I could identify exactly where and approximately when it happened, I felt dismissed and left to investigate the theft myself. This is unacceptable! I brought my mother there for a special outing. Instead of leaving with a good memory, I left without my phone and with absolutely no confidence that this casino genuinely cares about the people who support its business. I would strongly advise others not to support this casino based on my experience. If you do choose to go, be extremely vigilant. Keep your phone, wallet, purse, and other belongings secured at all times. Do not assume that extensive casino surveillance means you are safe and will receive meaningful assistance if something is stolen. Hollywood Casino should be ashamed of how this situation was handled. I expected concern, assistance, and accountability. What I experienced instead was indifference. I will not return and I cannot recommend this casino to anyone!

TV Remote did not work so they sent up a young kid who stunk to high heaven and looked like it too. TERRIBLE breakfast. Mainly just the eggs.
