These doughnuts are amazing and very filling! In fact they were the best doughnuts I ever had though my wife has had Voodoo Donuts and other great ones from her native Pacific Northwest region. My wife and I walked by after dinner during our honeymoon which occurred the same time as the Queen's Jubilee and they had an exclusive for the then we had called Lovely Jubbly. They also had a special kitten shaped donut with a kitten shaped candy on top for Pride called Scaredy Cat. We also had the Ice Ice Bae Bae and the Liam Hemsworthy and loved each one. We only ate half of them that night at our hotel and the others stayed fresh the next day.

If you want aesthetics but no flavour or an actual decent donut experience - then this is the place for you. Loved the names of the donuts, they were quiet funny like "Hans rolo" or "stranger rings." They look amazing in a trendy small shop, with no dining in seating just choose your donuts from outside or the store from the glass and go inside to order your selection. One donut is £4.50 I believe, and a box of 6 is £25. Honestly, I have had far better donuts, without the stodgy / stale taste these gave. I don't know how fresh these actually were, but they were not good at all. A waste of calories if you ask me. I purchased a few of the donuts, and got some to gift a family member, they come in a cute green packaging which would be fun to receive, just not sure about the item itself that's all. Good effort & concept, maybe change the recipe or make them lighter donuts for less stodgy effects, or perhaps actually fill them more so less dough?

We were walking around London sight seeing when my donut senses went off and I looked up from across the street and saw Doughnut Time. Debating whether or not we should bother crossing the street just to be disappointed by a non existent vegan selection, the walk signal came on and I figured I'd just tease myself with the torture of being able to look at donuts but not eat them. You can imagine my surprise when I was blessed by the sight of multiple tray fulls of an array of vegan options! What kind of people would we be if we didn't try them all? We had 5 different flavors : -cookie dough brownie -cookie butter biscoff -red velvet w/cream cheese frosting -jelly filled -apple pie They were all HUGE and absolutely AMAZING - you usually get one or the other with food, but rarely both - so that instantly made this place my favorite donut shop in the entire world. I'm not ashamed to admit I went back to various spots around the city every single day of our trip and would book a trip back to London in a heartbeat just for these donuts.

I didn't know vegan doughnuts were a thing, and I definitely didn't know doughnuts could be so big or have so many cool names! I'm so glad my teammate dragged me here at lunchtime and said we had to try some. I tried the Ice Ice Bae Bae and it was large, chocolatey, and rich, but not overly so. You can't tell it's vegan! I was tempted by the Liam Hemsworthy, Snicki Minaj, Sia Later, and more. Would be back if I'm back in the area but there are other outposts for you to visit. They also give doughnut making classes on the level above which is very tempting for a team offsite.

Have you ever experienced love at first sight? You'd better also prepare for love at first bite! There's no way you can walk past Doughnut Time without being drawn in to gaze into the carbilicious window display, at which point you will say, "diet starts tomorrow." Abs are great, but have you tried Doughnut Time's donuts!? Sweet Tooth Society, assemble! Snicki Minaj, Bellatwix Lestrange, Bueno Mars, Caramacklemore, Robert De N'oreo - that's not me making fun of these celebrity personalities, these are just some of the epic names on the menu to choose from. There's nowhere to sit down and eat as it is essentially a brick and mortar donut stand. No complaints from our squad; there's a bus stop with a not so comfy bench directly in front of the shop - ain't no London pigeon swooping in to take my donut from me! Whilst I am a self confessed avid donut aficionado, these really were different to any I've had before. I'm not sure if it's the fact that they were so sweet and more "cakey" than normal, or that they were so generous on the toppings bumping up the calories to something I don't actually want to know!? Regardless, I fell in love. Obviously. And they were all eaten. Even the vegan ones, eaten by the NON vegans. Just saying. Hand dipped doughnuts never looked this good. Fully Instagram friendly, with the potential of sending your followers into a frenzy or melt down, I urge you to give in to your sweet tooth and try one.

    The selection. Everything looked great!

Doughnut Time was a great little discovery on my last trip to London. Who doesn't need a great doughnut every now and again? Especially from a shop that makes everything fresh and has tons of unique options. The price point is a little bit high, but this isn't your average doughnut shop and prices in London are a little higher than prices in the US anyway. I went with the apple pie crumble doughnut, although I could have enjoyed any of their delicious choices. I knocked off one star because my doughnut was just a little bit doughy and undercooked in the middle. I'm assuming that this was a fluke and all of the positives made up for it. The filling was absolutely delicious, the apples were tart and crisp which gave great contrast to the rest of the doughnut. The caramel crumble topping was crunchy and it was just the treat that I was looking for.

So many donuts to choose from! They are also a nice size and well priced. I really enjoyed my Biscoff Donut which was sweet and had the perfect amount of filling.

In my opinion, this is not bad for a vegan doughnut. Something should be treated as a snack in case you need it. Not coming back again though. Not as good as the one I tried in Australia somehow. It was okay! But maybe you should try it since its all over in town. May quite a little bit pricey in my opinion!

Vegan doughnuts were pretty good! A bit more on the sugary side, as they use frosting to attach items on top of the donuts, so wish I picked a different flavor (I got the cookie dough one) - but would definitely come back to try a different flavor!

The line was wrapped around the corner for most of my trip and I was itching to figure out the reason. I was stoked mid-day mid-week that the line was minimal so I could go. I was definitely impressed and wish there was a location in America so I could go more often. This was an incredible doughnut, would have been worth the wait, and was definitely worth the price!

When visiting the UK this was on a must to try, I walked until I located the shop. There was a line so that's a good sign. Fresh and delicious

My doughnut was absolutely delicious! So glad I stopped to get one when I saw the place. The place was cute, and colorful so it'll get your attention when you pass by it. The prices were a little higher than I had hoped but it's a specialty doughnut so that's why. The doughnut I ordered was very chocolaty, a little messy, but it's worth it for the taste. The only downfall was that there's no real good place to sit except at the bus stop next to the shop. Idea: offer milk and / or coffee with the doughnuts, mine would have tasted great with milk!

    Doughnut (no Nutella or hazelnut)

Efficient and delicious- they had a huge selection and chose this (as someone has a hazelnut allergy). Will definitely be back asap

As we were walking around Borough Market we saw the line for Bread Ahead and realized it was for the donut stand they had outside along the street. We had to jump on line and drool over the display of sugary goodness. We each tried a different donut and was not disappointed! So many varieties to choose from - coconut, lemon curd, blackcurrant cheesecake, seasalt caramel and honeycomb, and others. They don't skimp on the fillings as each bite was flavorful. Yum!

I'd reccomend checking out the bakery as this is where the fresh goodies are made and you're more likely to get the fresh batch here. Price wise, it's a bit steep. At 5£ per donut and 6.50£ for a piece of focaccia. But you're in a tourist area so high prices should be expected. We opted for the cheese focaccia that came right out from the oven. For 6£, it's not bad. It's pretty sizable and a good shareable snack! It's a good crusty bread and had a subtle garlic flavor with a blend of stringy cheese. If you like cheesy garlic bread, this is for you! Out of all the snacks you could get in the borough market, this is a solid option! But I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

To our surprise we walked past this unique cronut / donut spot, and my foodie senses started to take over. We strolled in to a pleasant aroma of sweetness! The cronuts in the case looked absolutely stunning so our group decided to try a few and share. We indulged in the Nutella, Yum Yum, Zebra, and the Oreo Dough. All were scrumptious, slightly dense, and extremely filling! Definitely plan to share as one of these bad boys can easily be plenty for 2 people. That being said, the leftovers came home with us...so I'm not complaining. The fellas behind the counter were very friendly and answered all our questions. I went in close to 1pm on a Thursday and they were already sold out of many flavors. I got the Almond & Pistachio Cro and it did not disappoint; fragrant, toasty almond cream centered in between layers of the flaky dough, dusted with sugar all over, topped with icing, and perfectly decorated with pistachios. The cream was more like a paste but the sweet almond flavor was very nice. Super heavy and good as a breakfast or snack if you're looking for something filling. £3.50 was not a bad price to pay, although it equates to the $5 USD it costs at the overly-hyped Dominique Ansel Bakery. Easy to miss as it is very small, but it's located a few shops next to the Shoreditch Station, on the bottom floor of Boxpark, which is filled with gimmicky Instagram-worthy food. I'd say to give this place a try if you aren't sure about Dominique Ansel, which sells their cronuts for only £0.50 more, but overrated, IMO.
