    The Farmer. Seriously filling.

This is what we'd call in the UK a "greasy spoon", which is in no way derogatory. Simple, robust, well prepared food designed to keep the working man going all day. Primarily a breakfast joint, it also strays into brunch/lunch territory with burgers and sandwiches of various breeds. I visited late morning on a grey October Friday. A couple of tables were occupied out of a total of around ten. It's a plainly decorated place, but clean and comfortable. My charming waitress soon had me equipped with coffee and a menu, and being on the ravenous side of peckish, I opted for the gargantuan Farmer, consisting of three eggs, three sausages, ham, hash browns, and a choice of pancakes or French toast. Plus normal toast. Can't say for sure, but we must be edging towards 1000 calories and very well cooked calories at that. The hash browns/home fries were particularly notable. All told, the bill before tip was $15, which is seriously good value for the amount of food you get. If you have a hard day in front of you, or a hard night astern and require recovery food, this is worth the short drive from the centre of town. Highly recommended.

Fast and friendly service! Don't let the appearance fool you, this place serves quality food at a reasonable price. Would recommend!

They do not serve decaf coffee but you are not allowed to bring your own into the restaurant. Server was somewhat unfriendly.

Their ingredients are locally sourced, and all of their menu items are fresh and made from scratch. I walked into Riverwalk Bagel on a rare morning trip to Oswego village and wanted some breakfast. Ordered a ham, egg and cheese on a jalapeno cheddar bagel. Got it, started eating and everything seemed fine. Meat was piled high, bagel was decent, but as I took a bite or two, I noticed something green in my egg. Not really sure how I missed it, as the spots are noticeable even in the pic I took before I started eating. I took the sandwich apart to see that there were green spots all over my egg. I took it to the front counter to see if maybe there was something they put in the eggs I didn't know about, but the response was basically "no, they're just old and get green spots on them when left in the steamer too long." I watched another employee go to the steamer and throw away the remaining eggs, but received no offer to remake mine or anything, employees were pretty apathetic the entire time I was there. I'm not expecting employees of a bagel shop to jump for joy or anything, but the complete lack of interest from the employees when I expressed a concern about an admitted problem on their end will probably keep me from coming back again.

The server who seated us said she would not be serving us but our server would be along shortly. While we waited for our server, the first server seated another couple and immediately took their drink and appetizer order. After 10-15 minutes our 'server' finally arrived. By then we had pored over the beer menu and selected a couple options. She flippantly told us 'nope, not available' to the first three we chose. We finally picked a beer, and ordered our appetizers and mains. About 20 minutes later, 2 tables that arrived well after we did, started getting their apps and mains. After being in the restaurant for 45 minutes with no food in sight, we got up, paid for our beers (which she then said we didn't need to pay for, because she FORGOT TO HIT SEND ON OUR ORDER). Completely unprofessional and our server was robotic and flippant. Steer clear! The place is clearly understaffed and lacks any sort of management presence.
