In an era where quality medical care is hard to come by if you don't have lots of cash to throw around, and medical practice groups resemble a revolving door, it is refreshing to deal with a solo practitioner like Dr. Ghavami. He takes pride in his work and resists being gobbled up by large practice management conglomerates. Dr. Ghavami was so sweet and wanted to make sure we received everything we needed. He was thoughtful and respectful of my decisions as a mom. He was playful and silly with the boys and made our trip much easier. My boys struggled with their fingers being pricked as they have Autism and had a meltdown but the staff were very understanding and helped us through it. Then, I asked to be scheduled for the next day and I was given a time. When I showed up, I was informed that my appointment is for 3:15 PM and not 2PM. I had nothing to eat to be at this appointment and I was behind on my meds just to get my blood work done... I also took time from work for both appointments and I had to be back at work after rescheduled appointments. I had to find a substitute to cover me since I was not going to be available for another appointment in like another month.
