I had been dealing with plantar fasciitis for almost 2 years. Had a couple appts with other…read moredoctors in the area, all who are in the Kootenai Medical system of doctors, unfortunately. None of them were capable of helping me in fact none of them ever took an xray. Eventually my regular doctor/PA made me an appt with Dr. Arnold. 1st thing on the 1st visit I got an xray which showed I had a prominent bone spur on the afflicted food which helps to irritate the PF issue. I received a shot on the second visit, another appt was scheduled 2 weeks later but when I was interviewed by Dr. Arnold she determined since the pain was gone at that point no shot was advised. I havent been back, I have been pain free with only a minor, very minor flare up after doing things like pushing heavy wheel barrows which before ruined me for days. I can bike ride again too which is very important for me. Thank you Dr. Arnold. Office staff is very helpful and nice also.

My first and only appointment with Ms Hall was for an annual exam. She did absolutely nothing…read moreduring the exam. Did not listen to my breathing/lungs or heart. I had to ask for the basic blood test. She did not order a mammogram, colon or bone density test. I complained of my ear plugging and she did not even look at it. I had injured my arm and found out later that she made no notes of it and wanted me to come back in merely to order an x-ray for it. It would be impossible to see what was wrong with a probable Deltoid muscle tear without an x-ray or MRI so why she refused to order one, I do not know. I guess just to get money for another useless visit. I told Whitney that I was depressed after losing my grown daughter w/young children to cancer. She immediately turned the conversation to all about her own problems without addressing any possibilities that might help me to better cope. After telling the staff manager, Margaret, that I had been told via text I would be switched to an actual doctor after reporting the poor service from Whitney, she said that they do not text and it must've been a robo response. I then sent proof with copies of the actual text messaging that I had an ongoing conversation with someone that was going to assign me to an actual doctor, which never happened. Margaret never acknowledged, apologized or helped in any way. Northwest Family Medicine is a terrible place and I would advise any and all to stay clear! Even the offices did not feel that crispy clean like one would expect from a good medical facility.
