This was my initial visit and he walked in and asked so what are you expecting us to do for you? I said I didn't know as I didn't know what all was wrong. My general doc ordered the MRI and he didn't think things were horrible but didn't know. The surgeon PA points to X-rays they took and says well this isn't an easy fix like I'm assuming you think you will be getting. I just sat there because I was there to find out what was wrong. Very strange atmosphere. Very arrogant staff. It would be nice if the tech and the dr could just show a bit of kindness and compassion to their clients.

Doctor Stowell examined me and quickly diagnosed my condition. The Dr ordered an MRI and prescribed medication for my ailment. I returned a couple of weeks later after the MRI and the doctor reviewed it. The doctor recommended I do not have a knee surgery . Instead he recommended I get a cortisone injection. I have been pain free for about 6 months. I returned several months later for pain in my heal. The examining foot doctor diagnosed plantar fasciitis and ordered physical therapy. The therapist indicated that the fasciitis is a result of chronic tightness in the calf muscle. The therapist performed a muscle relaxation massage on the calf and several stretches. Those exercises worked great!!

I was able to get a surgery date quickly and I thought my care was very good. I have a complicated medical history including diabetes and a possible bleeding disorder. I also inject humera. He and his PA, Travis, were diligent in my care and put me at ease about possible complications. The nurse, Anna, that keeps in contact the few weeks before surgery was very helpful. On my first follow up visit two weeks after surgery Dr, McInnis spent a lot of time giving me a pep talk and advise for attacking the months ahead. I was very grateful that he took the time to do that. The nurse, Emily, that took out my staples was very gentle. Since Dr.McInnis was speaking to me while she was taking out staples, I hardly felt any pain at all. I can't wait to have the next knee done in a few months. When we went in to see him, and had to request to see him, not his PA, he said he didn't know how he could help her. She was unable to sit up straight after the surgery. We left his office feeling extremely defeated. We went to another hip surgeon, in Spokane Valley and after a 2nd surgery, her hip is healing wonderfully! Our family would NOT recommend Dr. Olscamp as a surgeon. Another daughter had knee surgery from Dr. Olscamp and still has knee pain. She's young and should have had a successful outcome. We will not be returning to this office. We have not been impressed with Dr. Olscamp as a surgeon!

My experience was excellent from the time I walked in. I was called with an update an couple of days later regarding a culture specimen. I always feel confident when I go to this facility.
