My advice if you want to work with this company: 1. Read the small print 2. Leave early not to be late 3. If anything happens be ready to pay a big premium or lose your time and money. He livens the place up with his quirky comments and provides a non-threatening, overall fun environment. I came home with a side table, a white trunk, a box of silk scarves and several glass items. All for about $50. Love it! Although the auction is awesome, I do need to give a shout out to the pie maker. Holy cow. I've tried a cream pie and a fruit pie and both are to die for. Even if you don't want to buy anything, it's still worth coming just for the pie.

When I called to inquire about a beautiful rocking chair that never showed on the paperwork I was given, I was told that rocking chairs don't sell so we put it in the dumpster. That is a lie! I had people wanting to buy that chair for years. This is only one example of how this place steals your things and sells them for themselves. Again, I can't stand a thief or a liar. If you ask the helpers, they'll move your items into an auction call queue so you don't have to be there till the end. Staff is friendly. All kinds of odds and ends from vintage cookware to furs to coins to furniture. They do auction & consignment. There's the gavel grill with some food options. There's the main room as described above and a side room, to the left, with early bird auctions running concurrently. I couldn't help but wonder if I were to purchase a rug wouldn't I also be purchasing the odor that comes with it? The rugs are thick and made of wool, it's a process to wash them. They also sell some beautiful framed artwork. There was more downstairs, I just couldn't stay due to the smell. This store has a lot of potential, they should do something about the mold.
