We had windows from 1979, single glazed, old anodized aluminum windows. We called at least 5 different companies to have someone come out. At best, they were all at least 2 weeks out? Then I saw a truck in Port Orange and saw that they did windows and doors so I called the local number and got a lovely woman who was very helpful. She took down my information and told me a Salesman would call me. Of course I was a little wary since all the "other" companies said they were all busy, but I held hope. Sure enough, not even an hour after I called a salesman called me and acted like I had been waiting for over a week when in actuality it hadn't been more than an hour! He was very Pleasant, and knowledgeable, didn't act like he was "bothered" made an appointment for the next day! Yes, I said the next day. So I asked him if his company was getting a lot of the over flow from all the other companies being so busy, and he said no, we don't advertise, and most of our business is word of mouth. And they were extremely busy with remodels and new construction, but every customer is important to them and between him and the owner, Adam Dovi, they are booking out until June. This salesman handled residential mainly, as well as the owner, and had been doing business for 40 years! I couldn't believe that such a company even existed, through such a tough economy, but 2 generations of Dovi men are still working in Volusia County and doing a great job! So fast forward a couple of months ahead, the salesman came out, measured my windows, brought the installer back to recheck, ordered my windows, gave me a time table, windows came in, installers came out and installed our brand new PGT vinyl windows, that really are the best investment we've made on our old house ever. We have a condo in Ponce inlet and recently replaced three sliding glass doors in our unit. We bought these doors from one of the big box stores and after the initial warranty ended we noticed that we could see daylight from underneath two of the doors. The big box store said there was nothing they could do because the warranty on installation had expired A few days ago A crew from Dovi Window Designs was next door enclosing a lani and installing new glass doors for our neighbor. They were there several days and we decided to ask them if they could come over to our unit and see if we had a problem with our new doors. When they had time one day they came over and said our issue wasn't serious and they would fix it for us while they were in the area. We initially talked a gentleman by the name of Ray who looked at our doors. He was courteous and helpful and said we also had a problem with the caulking on a couple of our doors. He said they would be in the area for several more days and they would stop by and fix our issue when they had time. After they finished the job next door and before going home one of the other crew members who was William came over and fixed our problems which took probably ten to fifteen minutes. We were technically not a customer of Dovi but after our experience with their crew we are sorry that we hadn't called them when we replaced or sliding glass doors. Should we need other work done in the future we will definitely be calling them for an estimate. Also, our neighbor said they are very satisfied with the work they had done. read more

Although I did not use his company for my window installation project due to the complexities of my situation, I was thoroughly impressed with Adam's willingness to take on the job and his expertise in the field. He provided me with detailed information on the installation process, and I felt confident that his team would have done an excellent job. Unfortunately, due to other issues that I could not deal with at the moment, I was unable to proceed with the installation project. A deposit was even refunded well after the allotted time in the contract. However, I have no doubt that I will be using Dovi Window Designs in the future should the need arise. Bottom line - go with Dovi. They are a FIRST class, HIGH quality company. I had a get experience with the entire team at Dovi, including the owner, scheduler's, office staff, etc. (I can't remember all of their names) I called several times and stopped by the office to get updates and asked several questions (sometimes the same questions over and over). They were professional and took their time. They were higher than some of the quotes I received (they were not the highest either) and it was a longer wait to get the windows installed (I knew this in advance); however, they completed the work ahead of the schedule they gave me. Sherri, their sales rep, answered all of my questions and was patient with all of our changes. I was extremely impressed by the installation from Braydon and Josh. It was high quality craftsmanship, efficient, and that included their housekeeping / clean-up. Braydon was able to explain the installation details that Dovi does that other window companies don't do. We just had 4 windows replaced by 3 very friendly, very efficient men who knew exactly what they were doing and worked very well together. John and Ray were very exact with their work, didn't do a rush job---they were very professional---they took their time making sure the job was done right. Ray was excellent replacing the siding; Ryan , who is new to the job, . couldn't do enough to help John and Ray--he has good work qualities. They were a great team. Scott, the supervisor, stopped by to see. how the team was doing, and was very pleased with what he saw. Scott also noticed, when he was leaving, that our door handle was not working correctly--so he fixed it at no charge because of his kindness. We would definitely have them back again to do more work. Dovie Windows recently replaced the windows in my home with PGT Windows. The company was easy to work with and they answered all my questions and communicated with me when they would be available to do the job. Sabastian's crew showed up on time, and they worked very efficiently and had my windows installed much quicker than I thought possible. Each member of his crew had a job to do and they worked well together and were polite when interacting with them. They cleaned up everything you wouldn't of known that they had been here, except for having new windows that seem to be well installed. We could not be happier with the work that Nate and Scott did on installing our new Eze Breeze windows for all of our windows on our lanai and pool area.
