They were courteous and professional in demeanor, which I valued. Unfortunately, the quality of the work did not match the price. Several areas of my yard were left uncleared, trimmings were not cleaned up, and there was little attention paid to garden features like solar lights. I requested a return visit to address what was missed, which they did--but the initial lack of detail was disappointing. Most frustrating was when a shovel of soil was tossed over my koi pond, leaving it full of dirt. I had to spend hours restoring the water quality myself. I do have photos documenting the issues. Overall, the experience was a mix--good intentions, kind workers, but a lack of follow-through and care in execution. I hope they grow from this, as they clearly have potential with better oversight.

The quote from Jackson Electric fell right in the middle. But what set them apart and made our decision crystal clear was the thoroughness of their quote. Charles not only answered all of my questions and eased my concerns, but he also provided a very detailed quote that listed each item in detail for the work that would be completed. The quote included absolutely all of our requests to a T. Charles had great communication, was speedy at scheduling all of the needed permits and appointments, and kept us informed the whole time from start to finish. Charles and his team completed a full rewire of our 1950s cloth-wired home and upgraded our panel from an old XO 100-amp panel to a new 200-amp panel. As first-time homeowners, we were very nervous about this big project, but we knew our home was a huge fire risk with the old wiring. Charles set all of our worries at ease. His team completed the job a day earlier than promised and cleaned up very nicely. Charles also came back out to help us troubleshoot a concern after the project was complete, free of charge. I contacted Reed Electric through yelp on a Sunday morning and I received a call less than 2 hours later. I explained my situation and Reed helped me troubleshoot my fridge and circuit over the phone and discovered my circuit breaker was working properly and the problem was my fridge. Reed was very helpful and informative with my questions. I asked him how much for his time and he said no charge.
