The service department is nothing short of amazing! I dropped my vehicle off on Friday and the vehicle was looked over and dropped back off at my home on Tuesday morning. Very dissappointed. My brother spoke with Salesman Joe Scicolne on the phone to arrange an appointment for the next day to test drive and purchase a car they had in Saint John. we let Joe know we would be driving from Halifax to meet him at noon for this transaction. Joe texted my brother one hour before our appointment to say he sold the vehicle ! Wasted our 4 hour drive! You lost another customer Downey Ford!! read more

Had an appointment to discuss written offer I had received. Price was $32500 plus tax. After a test drive and appraisal of my vehicle I was informed there was a computer glitch and price would be $2500 more. Slow inefficient and rude service. I walked in to see if I could get an oil change done on my F150. First, I went to the only 'customer service rep' without a customer, some guy with a beard who couldn't be bothered to look up quickly, greet me and say - "just a moment sir." I waited a few moments, no reaction so I moved to woman, she asked what she could do for me, I told her, she asked if I had an appointment, I said no, she said I needed one and escorted me to a phone a few feet away where I made an appointment. Throughout our interaction she was brusque and verging I'm downright unpleasant. I secured an appointment for 10am and in doing so emphasized that I needed to be done by 1130. I was told I now had an appointment for 1000 and I should see (we'll call him Max), I walked back to the desk and spoke to Max. Max took my information but couldn't find my appointment, I watched the clock and more than five minutes passed, finally he found the appointment it was now 20 minutes since I arrived. I asked Max if he could guarantee that the oil change and tire rotation would be complete by 1130, a necessity due to my schedule. Max couldn't guarantee anything other than I was next after the customer in front of me. I said no thanks drove across the street to Canada Tire, got an appointment on the spot, didn't have to talk to a scheduler, got a $30 discount, and oh...throughout I was spoken to like a human being. Here's the summary, @DowneyFord, y'all need to bring in a customer service consultant, your process is overly complicated and inefficient and you have at least two rude (improperly trained staff) in your service e department. Also, there's a weird vibe with your people that stinks of a bad management climate. As a proud Ford owner I'd rather go to the dealer but this dealer falls way short in the customer service department. read more

We are full time travelers and we're having trouble with our tow vehicle. They were able to get us in for check up within a couple days. Service went out of their way to help and shuttle me back and forth to the campground. Had truck for the day and we're reasonably priced. Would definitely use again. read more

Excellent, friendly, helpful sales people. We spotted a car on their website that we were very interested in. Same day we called to say we were on the way to see it (we live quite a way outside of St. John). When we got there, Kevin in Sales had the car ready for a test drive for us. Loved the car so went ahead with the purchase. We then found out just how friendly and helpful the sales manager is. After just a short, SIMPLE, negotiation over price, we were able to do the deal. NO HAGGLING. Just a SIMPLE negotiation. It was a breath of fresh air compared to an experience we had with a different dealer the day before in Moncton (they tried to confuse and make it complicated to try to get a lot more money out of us). Since then we have been enjoying a great car. No problems. And Kevin called us a couple of weeks after we drove away, to make sure we were happy. Highly recommend this dealership. Great experience.
