I tried to enjoy it the way I usually do with new places, but the atmosphere felt unpredictable in a way that teenagers or young adults definitely wouldn't enjoy. As I walked around, I kept seeing groups of people arguing loudly or acting in ways that made the environment feel unstable, and it surprised me how often it happened. It wasn't just one moment -- it felt like something concerning was happening every time I turned a corner. What bothered me even more was how poorly monitored the mall seemed. There were areas with almost no staff or security around, which made the whole place feel even more unpredictable. Even the parking lot felt uncomfortable because of the lighting and the people wandering around who didn't seem to be there for shopping. Instead of feeling relaxed, I felt like I had to constantly watch my surroundings, which is the opposite of what a mall should make you feel. I really tried to give Stonewood Center a fair chance, but the longer I stayed, the more I realized I wasn't having any fun at all. I didn't feel safe, I didn't feel comfortable, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to teenagers or anyone who wants to enjoy their time without worrying about what might happen around them. I've lived for 24 years, and I've been to plenty of malls, but this was one of the few times where the environment itself felt like the problem. I only visited Stonewood Center once before writing this review, and honestly, that was enough. Because of how unsafe it felt, I'm giving it a 1‑star rating and hoping it improves so people can feel comfortable going there again.

My wife and I have been coming to the restaurant for couple years for breakfast they have a good breakfast menu serving American and Mexican cuisine in a perfect way. However... with a single story comes a TON of walking. Be prepared for that! There's a lot of your standard mall stuff here, so it's not worth mentioning about the department stores, but the mall portion is a fine experience. There are lots of clothing stores and dessert places, and there's a movie theater and some nice restaurants, but I will say there's NOT much to do as a fun activity for families with small kids. Older kids will have some things to do like VR or build-a-bear, but smaller kids will not. Food court is fine, there's some good options and I actually like that it's next to the entrance/exit of the mall so you don't have to be "stuck" in a second story hidden area forcing you to walk by stores while getting out of the mall. Standard mall food court options like Sbarro, it's really just a place to hang out. Again, nothing special, but super clean and open space brings this to an average 3/5 for me.

Having run an outlet store before, I have much respect for the employees who work and manage these stores. Outlet centers are a non-stop barrage of customers who are looking for bargains, and some of those folks have no regard for putting things back where they got them or expect luxury-level service for bargain bin items. Now, the thing about Citadel Outlets is the roster of brands is impressive. You will find a nice selection of stores, and because it's in the heart of SoCal, you will score some great finds, but the cost is navigating some of the clientele who once again, have NO concept of the social contract and treat their surroundings like trash. Case in point, while I was in the shopping center, a lady walking her dog as she was shopping let her dog deficate on the sidewalk in a sea of people and just left it. There are also plenty of people on their phones playing videos or whatever at full blast. So, if you don't mind people being absolutely anti-social and infringing on basic societal courtesy, you might be okay with shopping here. Of course the center cannot chose it's customers, but in order to score deals, you will most likely have to navigate through some bad behavior, but the center itself has a great assortment of brands- but didn't really see much in the way of dining. Also, the parking was good- but I did visit on a Tuesday afternoon, so it was off peak. Overall, Citadel outlets has an impressive array of outlet stores, but the usual downsides of outlet shopping apply, and a lack of decent food options detracts from the overall experience.

And since that time this place gotten worse.. Sure you can' slap some paint on it.. But all the major dept stores are now gone Over 400 business went under in 2008 hard telling now. This place is like nostalgia for some . The good old days are not coming back. I would show our mayor pictures of this place back in the old days And say what are you going to do now..? ENVIRONMENT Several local and surrounding area vendors set up their own canopies and tables on the concreted area next to St. Marks Episcopal School. It's completely outdoors in a nice area of the 90241 zip code. When they aren't making announcements, they have fun music on the stereo. SERVICE Most of the vendors are very friendly. THE GOODS Each time I see such a wide variety of products and items for sale including clothes, jewelry, baked goods, fruit juices, jerky, candy, plants, candles, aguachile, street tacos, coffee & tea, mask chains, hair accessories, skin treatments, and much more. MY FAVORITE PART... Supporting the locals especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. These people are doing this as their hobbies, but also for the extra income... please support them if at all possible! NOT SO FAVORITE PART... I like to know how much items are clearly and quickly.
