They just decided because of their prejudice to do this. As I walked around, I kept seeing groups of people arguing loudly or acting in ways that made the environment feel unstable, and it surprised me how often it happened. It wasn't just one moment -- it felt like something concerning was happening every time I turned a corner. What bothered me even more was how poorly monitored the mall seemed. There were areas with almost no staff or security around, which made the whole place feel even more unpredictable. Even the parking lot felt uncomfortable because of the lighting and the people wandering around who didn't seem to be there for shopping. Instead of feeling relaxed, I felt like I had to constantly watch my surroundings, which is the opposite of what a mall should make you feel. I really tried to give Stonewood Center a fair chance, but the longer I stayed, the more I realized I wasn't having any fun at all. I didn't feel safe, I didn't feel comfortable, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to teenagers or anyone who wants to enjoy their time without worrying about what might happen around them. I've lived for 24 years, and I've been to plenty of malls, but this was one of the few times where the environment itself felt like the problem. I only visited Stonewood Center once before writing this review, and honestly, that was enough. Because of how unsafe it felt, I'm giving it a 1‑star rating and hoping it improves so people can feel comfortable going there again.

Target stays open later or it could be the stragglers that are still shopping when you hear the closing announcement. Applebee's is still going strong until midnight so you can still get your "draank" on while snacks are going on. I don't know about during the day but there is ample parking in the evening. Mainly because everything is closed so you can park under the street lamp further away. No scratches on this ride or yours.

It was one of the nice malls growing up that was nearby. Now, it's somewhat similar from what I remembered. Give or take some of the major departments stores are gone and replaced by a major chain store. You still have all the little mom and pop shops. Then the classic retailers. Loads of stores that I loved growing up have vanished. Either out of business or relocated. Department stores like Macys and JC Pennys are still there but nothing major. I don't even know what the food court is like as we didn't even venture that far. I had to return something and they had a store here. A smaller store but still. Plenty of parking as the space is massive. Mall is decent size but nothing crazy big. It's the neighborhood mall that I feel like it'll be there for many more years to come.

I went here during a Friday evening parking lot pop up event and I have been here in the past prior to COVID and got the same eugh vibes. I'm not sure how a mall that has a Target, Book Off, and Round 1 was able to incite these negative ASMR feelings. At the very least there's still a food court and a good number of shops, but it does look old. Parking lot was absolutely fisted, probably due to the event and potentially because there might not be that much to do in that area or in terms of shopping opportunities. AC was not that great throughout the mall. Like for a couple shops we could feel it blast through, other ones felt like you were in the sauna. The main mall area connecting all of the shops just felt like a murky, muggy hotter than room temperature feeling. I wanted to get out ASAP. Also knowing Yelp's ToS, this review would get removed if I was 100% frank with the clientele that frequent this mall, but it says a lot if a subpar mall was able to be forced into existence from the community. Had a dude tell us to "get TF out of the way" and call us blind (thinking we cannot speak English AND being extremely ableist). You could have simply used your manners and said "excuse me", but that's beyond some. Some of the grossest restrooms I've been to too. The variety of dining options is my favorite thing about this mall. There are so many Korean restaurants to choose from ranging from Korean fried chicken to KBBQ to seafood to pochas, and even a food court! Throughout the mall there are plenty of drink spots and dessert cafés. I honestly haven't even had the chance to try every restaurant yet because there are so many options. Beyond the food, I also enjoy browsing the small independent shops throughout the mall. There are many Korean beauty stores, home goods, K-pop merch, clothing boutiques, and other unique stores that are fun to explore.
