My go to mall. They have a wonderful selection of stores. Parking can be a bit far sometimes. A good place to hang out with a friend, go shopping and enjoy a full day

I came to the mall for the special at Yogurtland, where you get two for one with all the toppings you want. After enjoying my yogurt, we went for a long walk all the way to Sears. It wasn't very crowded, so it was a very pleasant stroll. There are some new stores opening up and others closing, so it's always different. Parking was really easy. Had a nice time.

One of the few remaining malls that's still hopping! A large selection of shops of all types. The main areas are kept pretty clean because they have an ample staff of folk, and their food court has a good selection. The value is in the selection of shops, and there's almost no dead/open spots, every shop is filled - all offering deals this time of year.

    Pretty mall!

March 22, 2025 | Cerritos: Super cute mall! Whenever I stop by, I encounter the friendliest people, other customers and sales associates! I've also found some of my favorite stores! The skylight ceilings are just beautiful while walking around! Beautiful Store: I had to stop by before the Forever 21 store closes, as it's one of the prettiest locations I've visited, including beautiful chandeliers throughout!! I'm glad I did, as I'm on a mission to find all the colors of this particular dress that I absolutely love! One more color to go! Sweet Tooth: One of my absolute favorite fancy chocolate shops from Switzerland is here as well, Laderach; the most amazing chocolates! They give free samples as well! Vibe: Friendly, family-oriented! So many of the stores are bright, welcoming and inviting! Recently, while walking through the mall with my friend, a woman walked up to me, complimented me and told me she was originally from Vietnam! Turns out, I had recently put Vietnam on my travel list of places to go, told her and she gave me her info, because she wanted to send me a list of the best places to go, as she was a local! Super nice! Movie Theater: Excellent movie theater with cozy reclining seats! I've been here twice and enjoyed each experience! I even met a photographer & his female assistant while waiting in the lobby once! Friendly vibes! Parking: Plentiful & free! Overall: I always enjoy every visit to the Cerritos Mall! Friendly people, a variety of stores, a delicious chocolate shop that I love, and chandeliers throughout are always an absolute delight!

The mall is great for shopping, it has some high end stores, good eateries with spacious parking. We come here frequently and it has my favorite shops. The mall is always well maintained and clean!

The stores are great, never any problems. I come here often and never have a bad time. They have good prices here and there, a good selection of stores to choose from. The service in NOrdstrom earlier today was good. Got a deal, they worked out an even better discount on a selection of sweaters I was considering. Beautiful start to my rainy day here in socal!

Ask the Community - Los Cerritos Center

Is this a pet friendly mall?

The pet policy allows service dogs, and small pets under 10 pounds. Must be carried in or in some kind of carrier.

    Do they allow dogs?

    People bring there dogs

Is there a body shop store?

The Body Shop closed all of their stores.

Any Louis Vuitton or. Gucci store?

    Nope

    Is the mall still open?

    Yes they are

Is the mall open now? If so, What stores are reopened?

yes, most of the stores are open. a lot of the snack/food kiosks were closed when i went because eating inside the mall is not allowed.

Is the entire mall open yet?

Almost, the food court and other food places in the mall are not open yet, but the retail stores are.

    Is Nordstrom open?

    Yes

Is Los Cerritos center reopen this month?

Yes, but not all the businesses

Is potato corner still in this mall? I heard it closed down. need to confirm because i live far away from any potato corner and imcraving for one. Lol

No, but I believe there is one in Lakewood Mall and one in Stonewood Mall.

Is there an indoor playground for children here?

I don't believe so - most of the kids are gathered around the Microsoft Store anyways.

Are dogs allowed inside? I just saw someone's dog poop on the floor!

Barney fife security guard says you have to carry dog.

Do you get your Santa pictures the same day you take them?

Yes. They were expensive and I did not like the quality of the photos. Waiting in line felt like I was at Disneyland. I wanted to make an appointment but they they were pretty much full so we walked in.

It was one of the nice malls growing up that was nearby. Now, it's somewhat similar from what I remembered. Give or take some of the major departments stores are gone and replaced by a major chain store. You still have all the little mom and pop shops. Then the classic retailers. Loads of stores that I loved growing up have vanished. Either out of business or relocated. Department stores like Macys and JC Pennys are still there but nothing major. I don't even know what the food court is like as we didn't even venture that far. I had to return something and they had a store here. A smaller store but still. Plenty of parking as the space is massive. Mall is decent size but nothing crazy big. It's the neighborhood mall that I feel like it'll be there for many more years to come.

And DO NOT use the ladies toilets near the T Mobile and Macy's, unless you want flushing water splashing onto your face. Gross!! Lakewood Marketplace is located at the intersection of South and Woodruff. Here's a question for you: Which corner of that intersection is Lakewood Marketplace? It's a trick question because the answer is all four corners! lol It's true, there's something going on at every corner, and depending on your needs, you may be able to fulfill all of them at this one intersection. Just like parks, I don't find shopping centers easy to review, not knowing exactly how to approach it, but since I've stopped by all four corners at some point in time, I'll split this review into four sections, one dedicated to each intermediate direction. Southeast Corner: Vons is the anchor store here, but you'll also find a Daiso Japan, Starbucks, Granny's Donuts, Banfield Pet Hospital, Arby's, and an Ace Hardware store that just recently replaced Tuesday Morning, oddly enough, opening their doors to the general public on a Tuesday morning. The Vons here is more spacious than the *other* Vons on Woodruff, so if that *other* Vons is your usual Vons, and you can't find any of those seemingly scarce eggs, you may want to consider making the 1.7 mile trek north to this Vons instead. If you read my review of Carwood West Shopping Center, also in Lakewood, I mentioned a story where I tried to find something at the Vons on the other side of Woodruff and encountered a suspicious family asking for gas money. I told them I didn't have any, but wished them luck anyways. I drove up to this Vons, and when I was about to leave, that same suspicious family came up to me again! Luckily, that was the only such encounter I've had at Lakewood Marketplace. Northeast Corner: I've only been to El Pollo Loco and Pizza Hut. Also the Seven Eleven on 7/11, but they had run out of free slushies. UFC Gym was the anchor business there, but they have since closed. However, Tesla owners will be thrilled to hear that there's now a Tesla Supercharger here! I don't own such a vehicle, so I can't really comment on how effective the charging station is there. For eats, there is also a Church's Chicken and Thai Villa here. They're probably better than what I had at El Pollo Loco and Pizza Hut. I don't find this corner particularly interesting compared to the Northwest and Southeast corners; I find it about as boring as the Southwest corner. Northwest Corner: Alongside the Southeast corner, there's just as much or maybe even more going on at this corner with the recent addition of a Cassidy's Corner Cafe, though I personally think it's overkill to have 5 locations within 6 miles of one another! The other grocery store, Grocery Outlet, is at this corner, and shopping there lately has been more of a game of maximizing your savings while minimizing your spendings. Don't expect the quality of the merch to be better than that of Vons, but you can definitely save a ton of money if you shop here often. The expiry dates are much earlier than at Vons, so keep that in mind in deciding whether to patronize Grocery Outlet or Vons. There are more options for eats here: Yoshinoya, Mamma's, Adobo Taco Grill, Subway, and Carl's Jr. There's also Cafe Monster that took over Ding Tea, and I'm not sure if it's a rebranding of the bubble tea shop with the same employees? If it is, I'd be hesitant to visit as my one visit to the then-Ding Tea was a complete and utter failure. See my review of that one to see why. Southwest Corner: The only businesses I've patronized on this corner are ARCO and Boba Bee, the last of which is a pretty nice boba shop. Much better than the *other* bee-themed boba shop in Lakewood, which happens to be next to the *other* Cassidy's Corner Cafe, both of which I'm avoiding like the plague. Some gas stations are set up so that if you want to park your car in the parking lot directly in front of a business in the same corner, you'd have to get back on the main road for a few feet. Not here. There was a time when I needed to pump fuel at ARCO, and then immediately after, I parked in the lot without having to get back on Woodruff, which was pretty convenient, but with such a smaller space to traverse your vehicles through, you'll have to keep a keen eye on other drivers finding their way about. Compared to the other three corners, I believe fender benders are likeliest to happen at this corner. Did I mention the parking lot here? Since it's a strip mall, there's a long strip of parking spots with minimal room for two vehicles to pass by one another in opposite directions. If you're really having difficulty finding an open spot or maneuvering your vehicle with such a short turn radius, I recommend parking closer to Tokyo Hibachi. Overall: It wouldn't be easy for me to give a rating to each individual corner of this intersection. Luckily, deciding on a holistic rating was. 4 solid stars!
