By next evening, he was not improving so we went to the Downriver Clinic. The nurses and doctor were quick to determine he has pneumonia. She reviewed my chart thoroughly to see what had helped me and what didn't. I feel I was more than adequately treated. My biggest surprise and the lady that made my day was her assistant Shineki S. I had to get injection in my hip. I explained I can get them in my arm all day long but in my hip I stiffen up and can't relax. She insisted it had to be my hip. If there is a Hall of Fame for Injection Givers Shineki S needs to be the first inductee. She was kind, understanding, had warm hands and when she said "your all done" I looked at her and said "with the shot??" she said yes with the shot. I couldn't believe it I felt absolutely NOTHING. My pharmacist let me know what to tell THEM to prescribe. Labs were supposed to take 2 -3 days. After 8 days, I had to CALL THEM to find out that my labs were rejected because the "lab sent them the wrong test tubes." Still no call back from the nurse, NP or doc after 9 days. I likely had a potentially fatal infection (not covid) and am thankful my pharmacist had my back. This clinic is highly inept.

Went in on Saturday for an X-ray and I was told…read morethat I would have an answer by Saturday evening or sometime Sunday because they had to send it off. I called on Sunday for the results and I was told that the place they send X-rays to was closed on Sundays, that they would know something by Monday. On Monday when I called they said they hadn't sent it over to the place to have it read, but would and they would know something by the end of the day. I called back at the end of the day and they still didn't have the results. They did give me the number to the place they send the X-rays to so I called them and left a message. The man quickly called me back and said he didn't have my X-rays, but he did list off all the last names of the ones sent over by Xpress and other urgent cares who use their services. He asked me if I could take a photo of my X-rays and text them to him while we were on the phone and he'd read them. Since I don't have access to those X-rays I was unable to! Due to the run around by this place I had no choice but to go to another urgent care, Beaumont Urgent Care, for X-rays!! Beaumont was able to do my x-rays, give me the results and have me out of there within forty minutes!!
