Reason being is that me and my kids had a rapport with this place. The regular staff members are great. I can't say the same for the weekend/irregular staff. Today me and my daughter came in to the office in very bad conditions. I myself can barely walk or walk due to my pain. Just for the staff to hassle me as if I was a new. They have our insurance information and id. It's the new year so I know all the Insurance and Ids need to be rescanned. But this was not the case for everyone. They got my id and had me sign an insurance waiver saying that "due to the weekend they could not verify any insurance". Me and my daughter sat in the waiting room in severe pain as they called multiple people that came after us. I asked why are we still waiting and not getting called? The receptionist said, "maybe she finished her paper work before you". I said, "no we completed everything even the insurance waiver". So again another person came in after us, and was seen. They did not sign an insurance waiver or anything. So I asked and the medical assistant that was calling people back said, "oh what's your name, are you the 2". I said, "yeah, you saw us sitting in the waiting room as you keep calling new people that walk in". As she shut the door and said "a room is being prepared now" as she continued to take the new patient to the room that just opened. So again, I asked the receptionist. "Are we waiting on something? Is something wrong". The lady with the dark hair and glasses was nonchalant and acted careless. The other woman with the Curley orange hair said, "on the weekend the Insurance verification systems is down. So we can't verify insurance that's why we had you sign the waiver". I asked "is it down for everyone or just certain people because no one else is being called up to the desk to complete a waiver". I told them that this was discriminatory and unacceptable. We got called back shortly into one room with one chair and a bed. I said, "I thought we was waiting on a specific room to be prepared for 2 people". The medical assistant looked shocked as he said, "prepared? All the rooms are the same with one chair". It's obvious that we were being discriminated against. They didn't even tell me a price to pay if they questioned my insurance. I've been coming here again since they opened and don't have a bill or anything. I'm so upset. I will be making a report with the proper channels and will not return or recommend this place to anyone else.

Update! Unfortunately the quality of care has gone downhill at this urgent care. They have now…read moremishandled 2 UTI's that I have been treated for. The first, I was underdosed with cephalexin, changed to cipro (which didn't work at all) someone finally figured out that I had been underdosed and I was put back on cephalexin. The second, I was given 1500mg of cephalexin instead of the gold standard which is 2000mg and was told they prescribed the lesser due to some billing things? (Not clear) so he orders the extra pills to put me on 4 times a day. I go back today and the Provider Kerrie Machcinski adamantly tries to tell me I was prescribed 500mg 4 times a day because she didn't do her homework and see that's not what I was prescribed initially and when I say I'll call my home and have them take a picture. She gets very aggressive and angry and even says "I know I'm being defensive" . It was unprofessional and extremely upsetting because I don't feel good and I'm coming to them to figure things out. She was demoralizing and did not make me feel heard as the patient and I didn't feel comfortable talking to her further. I won't be back.
