We checked out the store and when they were fished with the other customers, they approached us. We told them we wanted a backyard bow. Nothing too expensive since it's a fun time and not one for sport. They suggested the one I got and I love it. They let you test it and adjust it to your preference. I HIGHLY recommend this store. After looking 5+years and working with the same local dealer we decided now was the time for our…read morenew boat! Unfortunately that dealer thought we were suckers and would buy whatever "deal" they handed us. They flat out lied about prices and "cutting commissions" just for us. We almost gave in, then decided maybe this just wasn't our year. Then we found Vance's. What an amazing experience!! We spoke with Scott and Trey over email and phone calls and they were so incredibly nice! They are 3 hours from us, so we didn't want any surprises. They were detailed and informative every step of the way. We bought our boat, sight unseen and headed out to pick her up. But there were surprises....Mark and Hunter! My goodness....such incredible people! We had a small hiccup with our trailer but everything came out perfectly. Hunter made us feel as if we were family and helped us get all our necessary gear for our first ever boat. Mark!! How we wish we could have brought him home for private lessons (and a day on the lake! )! He took us out on Buckeye Lake and introduced us to our new boat, no rush, took whatever time we needed. The one thing about all 4 of the men we worked with is that no one made us feel stupid for knowing very little about boating. They answered every question without judgement. I wish they were closer, they were a wealth of information and felt like friends we've known forever by the time we left.
