Out of all the antique stores this one seemed to have the coolest stuff to me. I found some of the oldest stuff dating back to the very early 1900's. So cool! We got to look through some very old pictures, trinkets, and dishes. Some cool stuff. I really liked a lot of the stuff here. It is a bit pricey but how much of this stuff do you really come by? The prices matter the most to me when it comes to antique stores and this store has very high prices. I can find similar items online for a quarter of the price. I enjoyed the staff for the greeting and asking if we are looking for anything specific, but if they treat it like a museum and don't want to move inventory then I won't be back. read more

Sadly this place is only half of what it once was--literally. Now it seems to be mostly vintage clothing, albums, and this and that. Im so sad to see what was once a great antiques store become something I have crossed off my list because what is left is not anything that calls me back. read more

Located in downtown New Braunfels, the outside may not look like much, but don't be deceived... upon entrance, your eyes and brain will go into overload with the amount of antiques. The mall was expansive- a main floor with 2 basement floors as well! Hundreds and I mean hundreds of vendors, each selling different items. You definitely need to allow for good chunk amount of time if you want to see everything. We found prices to be slightly on the steep side. I ended buying a small cute milk glass jar with blue detailing. I really had my eye on various Fenton glass birds, but I may need to do a little more research on them. read more

This may be the biggest antiques mall I have ever been to! The place was packed wall to wall with all kinds of knick knacks. They even have two seperate basements filled with even more stuff. The Downtown Antique Mall in New Braunfels is a treasure trove for antique lovers. The place is packed with interesting finds, from Victorian furniture to quirky collectibles, and the prices are quite reasonable. This antique mall is located in the old historic downtown area of New Braunfels. There is no parking lot so you'll have to find an area along the street to park, but at least there are no parking meters......yet. This place has every conceivable, trinket, glassware, magazine, toy, doll, lunchbox, lots of records and memorabilia you can think of. The interior is filled with dozens of vendor nooks to fill this place with every imaginable historical collectible. Just after you've exhausted yourself looking at everything upstairs, you discover they have a basement as well with even more collectibles. Poppin' tags! Only got twenty dollas in yo pocket? This place has LOTS of stuff to sell ya. This is truly a mall- it's made up of all these vendors who curate and maintain their own little shops, but with only one check out area and a few employees. It truly is located downtown! Right off the main square. Ja! Be sure to check out the local New Braunfels German stuff- old steins from Wurstfests of the past are popular here. I really dig all the old brewery stuff. There's a basement to this building, so it's much bigger than you'd expect from the outside. Parking is a bit of a challenge, since it's located on the square. You can't come in here with a shopping list, hoping to check things off your list that you need. Instead, it's all stuff you never knew you needed until you see it, then you can't imagine how you ever lived without something like that black velvet elephant painting they have. read more

This store is huge and be aware there are two basements. We almost missed the first one. I think there are some prices that are a bit on the high side. I had to pass up a few things I wanted because of it but I did find one thing I liked. Parking is hard as we had to walk quite a ways from a parking lot to this block so be aware. read more

Absolutely love this antique mall. I'm a fan of antique malls in general but I discovered several awesome finds here so I am particularly enamored. Great selection (lots of vendors). Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Not only did we find a couple fantastic items (a cool Egyptian-themed art piece and a really unique wooden mask for my mask collection), but we ended up putting a couple other items back. What I'm saying is, we had choices. There was a ceramic General Douglas MacArthur shot glass, a USSR-made figurine of a Russian peasant girl playing the balalaika, matching plates featuring portraits of an angry New England fisherman and his wife, a vintage promotional poster for the Jersey Shore, and more. We had a lot of fun scouring this mall's aisles for treasures. Highly recommended! read more

Large place with all kinds of antiques, tchotchkes, home decor, as well as crap, junk, and worthless s**t. It sure would be nice if I could have been left to myself to browse and potentially shop instead of being asked suspiciously what I was looking for. It is not uncommon for people to browse with no intention of buying and with nothing really in mind. It is often a nice surprise that we find something special that we never thought about but have no problem paying for. Alas, they lost out on an opportunity. By the way, the heifer working security up front looking at the cameras at customers makes me feel they see people more as potential thieves than potential buyers. read more

I saw this place last time I was in downtown New Braunfels, but didn't have time to go in. My husband and I made a day of going antiquing and this was our favorite of the whole day! It is probably the biggest antique store I have ever been in! There are TWO basements. Everything in the store was at least 20% off and the prices were not outrageous to begin. The booths were all set up tastefully with almost themes in each. Everywhere we turned there was more to look at. read more

Man I wish I could give this place 5 stars. 5 stars for the store. 1 Star for staff. I spent 3 hours in here, over one full hour at booth #29. I had picked out about 50 postcards, as a sign (pictured) states "all postcards 1.00 #29". However when I got to the counter to check out, and explained the sign, the woman behind the counter would not honor the sign. I explained what it said and told her where it was. She did not go look at it. She didn't call the booth owner. She said she would only honor the price marked on each individual card because "customers mix them around." I again explained the sign said ALL cards booth 29 are 1.00. She repeated the same statement. "Customers mix them around." Alright, this makes absolutely no sense. Each card is labeled as being from booth 29 and ALL OF THEM should be a dollar. If it says booth 29, who cares if they are mixed around?? She made no sense and yet she treated me like I was too stupid to grasp what she's saying- condescending attitude. Because of her the owner of booth 29 lost a bunch of money from me, and I didn't have time to even go downstairs because I wasted a bunch of time picking out a bunch of stuff at a price that's listed and not honored. The whole store lost because I wasted my time and didn't get to see any downstairs vendors. I came here to buy. This place wasted my time. Hey booth 29, if you want to sell cards for a dollar let me know- and you need to have a real talk with that lady chasing off your customers. read more

I have been going to this place for years.... moved...so i came back for a visit... the stuff is great. But...... the line to pay was at least 7 people deep and 3 ladies (older) at the counter. I noticed 1 lady does the register , 1 lady hands the item to the other lady who then puts it in a bag..... I made a comment... and she said, we cant do much with one cash register. Amen sister . Please buy another one. These are older ladies that move like molasses. They need that 2nd cash register. read more

I have been to multiple antique malls and this antique mall is by far one the coolest ones I've been to. We walked in at around 4:45PM ready to explore unaware that they close at 6PM. After spending an hour in here, the store associates start turning ALL the lights to the entire store off, 15 minutes before their stores actually closes. These associates had told my family multiple times basically that they are closing asap, making us feel rushed. For a store as large as they are, in a town with multiple options for shopping, and as many customers as they had in there, you would think they would give everyone a chance to finish shopping till 6PM, instead of shopping in the dark at 5:50PM. Sad to see a store with such bad respect for their customers and the items they sell by cutting their customers experiences short. It looks like this store may need to fix a few personnel issues based on past reviews and the fact that everyone in my family and not in my family felt rushed to get out before the store even closed. Unfortunately, because I felt rushed and my experience with them ended so unreasonably abrupt, I am giving this store 2 stars. read more

This place is a must do if your in New Braunfels its like a free museum. Even if you don't feel like buying anything its a great way to see and learn about New Braunfels. Of course not all of the items are from New Braunfels the vendors do try to put a little bit of the town culture in each of their booths. read more

This is one of the most fun antique shops I've been in for a while. First of all, it's huge. We spent an hour here and I didn't get to see it all. Second, the displays are well organized, not cluttered. I felt like I could easily scan a booth to see if it might have the type of thing I'm hunting for. Prices were reasonable, at least on par with what I'm used to seeing if not cheaper. I also felt like they had a lot of large sets (such as dishes, etc) as opposed the random, mixed up "strays" i often see in antique shops. read more

One of many places thoughout america that goes by the name* antique mall * but does,nt quite make it . there is a sprinkling of old china , turn of the last century silver, some interesting kitchen utensils and old books but if you look closely especially at the china turn it over and you will find a *made in japan stamp * not the sort of thing my british upbringing would call antique . most items are overpriced most likely cus the stall owners have to pay the building owner a high lease .you can get a discount on some items if you take the trouble of locating a person who works there who will tell you they have to call the owner to authorize that and then go throu a spill about how much they paid for it . depending on what you collect its the place for you but true *antiques* are hard to find . it is however a big place to brows with lots of stalls and many items on display tempt you to open your wallet and extract your c/c be carefull if you do ,knowing what is and what is not is part of the game they play . read more

Lots of booths, friendly staff, so much to look at. You can spend the afternoon in here. They always offer a discount. Fun seasonal displays. You can't go wrong at this mall. First visit was amazing! Super organized, helpful staff. Be sure and go to the front basement and rear basement. I LOVE this place!
